SORRY I FORGOT TO PUT THIS IN THE VIDEO, but to get sound test you need to beat EVERY special stage in Time Attack so that the total time is under 4 minutes. But before you can play the Special Stages in Time Attack, you need to beat the main stages in under 25 minutes. It may be stressful, but you can get it done in an hour if you're dedicated to it. If not, you can always get an emulator and use a cheat code on the original 90s release (Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, A on title screen). But the debug code has three numbers, which are 40, 12, and 11

GUYS! I just came up something for my head cannon. So what debug mode is, is just sonics most powerful form that is granted when he gets the Chaos Emeralds and Time Stones! After all, unlike the Super Emeralds (which were a one time thing), the Time Stones come around once every month canonically, so if he collected both of them and absorbed their energy, he could become Debug Sonic or smth along the lines of that!

it does not take you to the previous level, in the game's memory you are still at act 3, what it does is send you 5 minutes into the past. I don't know much about programming, but basically his is still in act 3 and the map is still there, but the map from act 2 overlapped the map from act 3 (It even looks like the map is somewhat broken, there are duplicate platforms, in incorrect positions and cut textures) Why is the future good, is because the player should not be able to time travel there, there are no maps made for the present and past, to give an answer the game sends you to the future good. And all this is nothing more than the response that the game tries to give to actions that you should not be doing.
