A few months ago when my friend booted up this game the first time I ever played it or heard the soundtrack, it was the port where this is the menu theme and he went back and forth between the two. I could have told anyone at that exact moment that (I would assume, a la multitracks) one was basically a bottom layer and the other was a top layer. This is only surprising if you know little about pitch/key, tempo, et al. Don't know how much liberty was taken with this upload.
