Coming from the ending of the US version: I'd bet one of those differences is that for the JP version you say Amy and you don't necessarily mention how you annoyed your friends with the opening theme.

This is actually quite cool. I've only ever seen this whole, "Two parts to the same whole" thing done one other time on KZbin: TerminalMontage's Super Metroid video. It did it a bit differently though. They represented the 2 endings to Super Metroid. They had significantly different content. Your thing simply has a soundtrack change, of subtle BGM, nonetheless. I appreciate this. I can tell you did this just to give people a choice.

Honestly, you should’ve just put the links to each video on each side respectively. Cause if you’re trying to watch the videos via the playlist on consoles, you’ll need to leave the playlist and search for the videos.

Man *FUCK* Sonic CD. I grew up without a Sega CD so all I could ever do was listen in awe at how apparently awesome this game I missed out on was from forum goers online. So when I finally got to play it in Gems Collection for the Cube, I had no zero nostalgia to hide how TRASH this game is. The level design is fucking shit. It doesn't reward you for going slow or even "let you progress", it punches you in the face and tells you you indeed want more. I already play classic Sonic like it's Metroid and this STILL got on my last nerves. There're ll kinds of blind paths and springs that send you right into walls/spikes/enemies, it's infuriating. Then we get to the fact that every level has 4 different layouts *that keep a single ring layout*, WHO THE FLYING FUCK THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?! "Let's have our players memorize 4 different versions of every single one of our HUGE stages, and punish them (usually with death) for any missteps!" Screw that noise. "Track down the badnik maker (and Metal Sonic hologram) for a good future/good ending" you say? If only the levels didn't actively discourage you from going backwards at nearly all times! Y'know, I even tried it again in 2011 for the 360, "Maybe I was wrong, maybe the new physics will help me." I said. Nope. The only good things I took away from CD were the High-Speed Peel Out & the soundtrack (I could live with either one), but that's like the bare minimum of Sonic games. Even Sonic '06 had good music! I have a deep, seething, burning hatred for Sonic CD and part of that stems from my complete inability to see what makes people praise it at all. *FUCK. THIS. GAME.*

Yeah, I remember quite a few people having similar reactions around the time Gems Collection came out. Considering how incredibly people built it up, some people were pretty disappointed. Funnily enough, I had almost the opposite reaction to Sonic '06 a few years later, but I'm sure I'll do a video about that one sooner or later.
