As a kid, I thought of the Mega Drive games as the Sonic movies, and the Master System ones as the tv shows in between. I liked Sonic Chaos when I were a nipper cause it sated the craving for a new game before Sonic 3 came out. Never got all the emeralds though

I had the master system and this game rocked! The first 3 sonics were great but this one had superdash and tails! I felt like it was a bit too easy but overall I’d say pretty good.

Never played it. It's on my "to do list", just like Sonic Triple Trouble. But it seems a good game for half hour of fun.

Nice, although there is one thing I'd like to mention. This game and Sonic 2 were released on the Master System outside of PAL regions in places like Brazil and South Korea.

I first saw this game on QVC back in 93. It was one of my christmas presents (from Woolworths RIP). I enjoyed this game the most out of the Master System Sonic games as it felt a little closer to the 16 bit games. I found it odd that the Game Gear version changed some of the level themes (for the worse in my opinion).

Apropos Sonic, ich habe heute "Sonic Mania Plus" mit der Post erhalten für die Nintendo Switch. Hast du zu dem Spiel auch eine Meinung? Habe auf die Schnelle leider kein Video dazu auf deinem Kanal gefunden. Habe ansonsten nur sehr wenig Sonic Spiele gespielt, lediglich "Sonic Rush" auf dem Nintendo DS und "Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed" auf der PS Vita.

Oh geil, ich hoffe es gefällt dir! Sonic Mania ist mein absolutes Lieblingsspiel. Habe es schon unzählige Male durchgespielt und ich feiere es jedes Mal. Ein Video dazu habe ich noch nicht gemacht. Die beiden unten von dir genannten Titel habe ich beide nicht gespielt.

@@GFrom Cool, dann bin ich wirklich gespannt darauf. Habe noch 2,3 Spiele davor zu genießen doch danach gönne ich Mania. Ich gebe danach kurz durch wie es mir gefallen hat. Sonic Rush ist natürlich auch in der Art jener beliebten 2D Sonic Spiele, fand ich gut aber es war sehr schwer für mich.

@@GFrom Ich kann verstehen warum Sonic Fans das Spiel so sehr genießen, man merkt dass da viel Herz reingesteckt wurde. Leider habe ich eine fehlerhafte Version erwischt bei der es Probleme mit der Speicherfunktion gibt, darum musste ich schon nach der vierten Zone aufhören, bzw. kurz vor dem Abschluss dieser. Sehr schade. Bislang habe ich das Spielprinzip von Sonic auch noch nicht gemeistert aber ich war bereit es zu lernen.

I just played this game and finished recently to see if it was aa easy as people said. They were right I could this game with my eyes shut lol. It's not a bad game but does feel lackluster compared to sonic 1 on game gear.

Sonic 1 is well worth playing for any Sonic fan. Sonic 2 and Sonic Chaos, not so much.
