Metal will make this fight a lot more interesting. Knuckles is the raw strength and endurance. While Metal has intelligence, and the speed to match Sonic's. EXEs gonna have to try much harder, and lose that smug ass Sonic attitude now. (Just realized poor Sonic is gonna endure even more pain, in the nightmare hes in currently 😭)

You wanna know what would be absolutely evil? If Maple Riot put out a poll letting us decide if Knuckles/Metal won or not, with the trade off being that if he won, there’d be only one more video after that happened, being the aftermath, and if we don’t want them to win, they’d die in exchange for more episodes. And Maple wouldn’t even phrase it like, “should exe win or lose?” But rather, “do you want to see more of this series or not?” Just to push the odds even further into EXE’s favor. (On an unrelated note: Maple riot + Vibing Leaf collab = Maple Leaf)

Now I see it, Eggman put Metal Sonic in the fight because he can keep up with Sonic's speed. So with Knuckles's strength and Metal's speed they will have a chance to survive the EXE. Unless...Metal Sonic doesn't want to team up with Knuckles and want to kill the EXE alone or even worse the EXE adapting way faster to the body and defeating both of them, since we know that Sonic is always growing stronger every second. But anyway, this is just getting more interesting.

So uh….if you pause at around 0:42 (or somewhere around there) right when Knuckles punches Sonic.exe, you can see normal Sonic’s face there with a black eye, and that detail is really cool, cuz you only see it for a fraction of a second, but those few frames really make it sink in just how the fight between Knuckles and Sonic.exe is not only affecting them, but Sonic too at the same time.

this entire part goes so god damm hard. First of all i dont usually write comments but this is just too good. At the start of the fight where Sonic.exe engages him and made Knuckles reflect on Sonic asking if he ever thinks ahead only to come back to him fighting against a grotesque Sonic.exe is just so hard. It really showed me the frustration of what has happend to a friend. Like i get that Tails died with no chance since its his best friend, not being able to fight bur Knuckles just had to repeat the fight again after Sonic 3, but this time for real. And Knuckles knocked him down to show Sonic getting hurt is also just so frustrating man. A Hero trying to save his friend and help him being in that state of confusion and being so vulnerable is just damming. The cut back and forth is so appealing and i really wanna see what role Sonic still has to play since i dont think that the Game Over screen was canon, i hope it was more like a end of the Act:2 thing. After he got knocked down tho and Sonic.exe got loose from the literal chains it showed an angle where his sprite was bigger looking down on him showing the changing tides was so sick. And the the part with Eggman that left us with Knuckles going towards the light, transitioning into that Scene where Knuckles is standing below the moonlight with the red sky is such a insane shot that i could never imagine with those sprites. the scenes of "what you did to tails" and "You can't be Sonic the hedgehog" went so hard, referring to all the past parts. ong this entire part just shows the emotions of these characters so well, making you feel for those who were already doomed from the original Story. i just can say that i got hooked on this story now and i cant wait to see where this is going. also it got synced with the music so well making the entire experience so much better. i forgot where i wanted to go with this, but this is just a amazing story

Honestly this is my favorite take on Sonic.EXE in battle. Usually the fan-made stories either goes in a way where Sonic.EXE gets nerfed throughout the story and get his shit handed to him or Sonic.EXE somehow manages to kill everyone without even trying. But here, Sonic.EXE feels like a *genuine* threat, like an actual character that’d be powerful enough to be a Sonic villain, at least as far as classic standards go, and it’s not like Knuckles or Eggman are going to be his punching bags either.

A theory of mine is that when Sonic is appeared getting hurt, the splatters in the Hidden Palace relic thingy background has only HIM splattered with blood, that could mean that hes gonna die eventually in the series, or that represents X taking over Sonics body. And a little speculation at the end, metal and knuckles are Probably going to win and escape and have robotnik, metal and knuckles holding their own. Eggman = Mad Genius Knuckles = Strength Metal = Speed and intelligence And metal and can copy biodata.. isnt that funny? (Unless only neo can do that), then metal sonic can copy the biodata of X and use that against him.
