Juking depends more on Sonic’s skill level than yours ngl. Some Sonic’s may be new or just dumb, and be out of the ordinary for whatever strategy you have, while others fit your playstyle perfectly. Just wait around and quickly study how they play before they start chasing you.

0:01 true, camping is good if you're a survivor, but the real questions are: has anyone actually been in a server where people wait for the timer to go down when sonic is camping? (Servers with friends don't count). How many times have you told the server to not revive and they revive just a second later?

To answer your first question, yes... to an extent. We went to revive knuckles once the timer hit 90-ish after him staying downed for like 3 minutes due to Sonic camping.

A tip for Kolossos with grab: If Kolossos is chasing you but isn't hitting you, do not waste your jump button. He's waiting for you to jump so he can grab you without any struggle. Try to find your way near a spring or platform and go from there!

a tip that may or may not be real but i keep in mind every time i play as an exe, learn the ranges, you can see sally as an example, just by looking you can think "oh so easy, i just have to back up a bit" wrong, sally's shock actually has a big hitbox so you will most likely get stunned when you think you are safe, Something similar with Amy's hammer, if you pay attention you'll notice that her attack has sort of priority, so it's better to back off instead of trying to attack first, as an exe you'll have the advantage, but only if you know how the other characters work

1:20 I always make it a goal to hit everyone once as Kolossos (Metal gets hit 2 to 3 times) and down them all individually. This leaves me to have a pick any of them I wanna kill and have at least a minute or more to do so. Some advice for juking is if you aren’t near a spring and are alone, jump, weave, and run in a circular motion. I do this a lot and it seems to work rather well until I get my powers back and use them to fight the exe or get away for a short time.

a tip for last survivor (specifically shadow): i figured that you survive longer by using your abilities to run away / do shortcuts rather than trying to stun exe for 0.5 seconds once i was in has2 as the only one left, and i managed to stall until exit by jumping from one tall platform to the other using dash and homing attack, literally just parkouring to confuse sonic it's just that there are other uses to shadow's skills since it's mobility + support/stun, and the mobility part might just be of a big help

ANOTHER TIP! Red rings will give your location to Exe so DO NOT touch them randomly, especially when Exe isn’t nearby and you’re with others! You essentially snitch on your teammates locations as well, only use them when Exe is chasing you! Avoid using them on your last life, as you’ll burn your health and maybe be prone to getting one shot(instead of two shot) by exe’s attacks!

Usually juking is a bit tough regardless of exe skill (unless the person playing as exe has no idea how to use exe), as long as exe keeps attacking you they will eventually kill you if you aren't careful :p With kolossos dont jump right when he attacks since his hitbox is big, try to jump and bait him to attack (works for me but idk) Small exe wait till he lunges then jump. Lunge for small exe also increases his speed (I think) so making sharp turns can help (based on my experience)

I know this seems like camping but I’ll state this trick I only do that mostly works with sonic.exe only When a player is downed, use them as bait for harder targets like metal sonic, rouge, sally, or amy without her hammer as they will go for the body and I come outta nowhere and jump there, people respect me for this trick as it’s sorta better to do with camping. This only works with small exe cuz he’s slightly faster and his more harder to spot quickly while kolososs is slower and has a slower wind up and easy to spot with loud footsteps too.

0:58 I'll actually go on a bit of a side tangent here, targeting isn't a big mistake, in fact sometimes it's the optimal play. When you do it excessively, targeting can be a huge waste of your time, however otherwise, targeting is a pretty good way to get a minion early on. There's a few things to note when you decide to target though. 1: Toxicity Let's start with the 'spirit' of the strategy that usually makes people not want to do it. Targeting is portrayed as being toxic, even when it sometimes isn't. Targeting is morally an okay thing to do if you don't mean anything personal to the person you target, as long as you're just doing it for an advantage. Anyone can do it, it's not like exploiting, so it's technically a strategy, as annoying as it is. 2: Strategy It isn't always a good idea to target, it can waste a lot of your time if you use it wrongly, however there's a few reasons to want to target. - Nobody else is helping the survivor you're chasing, making them easier to kill - Everyone else is very far away - You're far behind with little time remaining and need to secure a kill - You need to guarantee a down to get people to run for a revive Another thing to note is the character you target. Characters like Cream for example will be a lot easier to target than someone like Shadow, because of their longer cooldowns and worse survivability. Here's a general priority list on the best person to target on the team. - If he's in the game, Tails should always be your first target. He has the longest cooldown for escaping in the game and he has the widest hitbox. He's about the closest to a free kill you can get. - Your next targets should be similarly low survivability characters. I recommend Cream next due to overheal, then Eggman, and then Rouge. These guys aren't as easy to kill as Tails, but they still can be pretty annoying and it's high value to kill them early. - Your next targets should be other supports, like Sally, Silver and Shadow. They're fairly capable, but if you've got other minions by now they shouldn't be too hard to get. - Next, you should try with the main stunners such as Amy, Knuckles and Blaze. They can be annoying to kill when protected, which is why it's smart to kill their supports first. - End with the Metal Sonic. Almost every team has a Metal, and he's usually the main time waster and gets extra health, so just ignore him and kill down all other threats first. They might even give up and self destruct for a free win. General list: 1. Tails 2. Cream 3. Eggman 4. Rouge 5. Sally 6. Silver 7. Shadow 8. Blaze 9. Amy 10. Knuckles 11. Metal Sonic 3: Minions Sonic is simply a lot more powerful with minions. They act as free damage. By targeting a weak survivor like Tails or Cream early on and killing them as fast as possible, that's essentially a free minion to start snowballing your pressure a lot faster. Securing minions early game can mean so many free hits to put them in range to die to your attacks, so it should usually be a priority to at least get one kill early game instead of scattering your hits. In general, targeting is a bad idea if you don't do it right, but when used effectively it can get you free early minions quick into a match to instantly start snowballing your pressure. It's high risk, high reward, but I'd definitely consider it to be far from a mistake. The mistake is not targeting in the correct way, the strategy itself is actually pretty good. (For the record I hate targeting and I wish it wasn't in the game, however it's hard to ignore how effective minions are early game and it's at the very least something to consider when you go into a match as Sonic.)

As a knuckles main, revival is my first priority, I don't care about campers. If someone gets downed, I'm reviving them exe near or not. Because he kinda has two Iframe moves, if I block, I'll have enough to to revive, if not, punch is perfect.
