To be fair exe and red dont require real combat and in the real creepypastas are shown being able to manipulate the code, this is how you are able to be tails knuckles and eggman in sonic 1 and how characters like biolantte appear in the godzilla creepypasta, to be fair its just a matter on who abuses the files and coding better. But im that case sonic.exe is at a great disadvantage because unlike red who has real threats, sonic.exe only makes a straight line then waits to attack, and red can add new characters, and maps that pose a threat, plus red ate godzilla, mothra, anguirus, and a all new character just by eating them.

Tbh for me RED beats easily every Exe version. Sonic.exe, Needlemouse, EYX and Lord X with his Internal Form and even with Void X form. RED still wins, specially cuz even when creator says Lord X have no limits in his powers, RED is more capable to break 4th wall a lot of times easier than Lord X, even affect the real world, something that Lord X can't do. So yea in every feat, excepting the speed, RED is the Winner.

Well... EXE is definitely faster. When red was chasing he was (barely) out run by Godzilla multiple times. EXE can fly and regular sonic is past the speed of sound. Probably mach 1-5. So EXE could definitely do the same especially since he can fly. Red can fly but it wouldn't be fast enough. As for strength. By going off their main games and original creepypastas. There's not much. But that doesn't matter. What does is this question: Can red posses EXE? Red was able to posses Melissa into killing herself but can he do the same to EXE? Well. He was able to do it to Melissa but he failed to do it to Zach mainly because of the blue spirit. If he can't posses that I don't think he can do it to EXE. So we're back at the question: who has more power. Well they can both interact with the real world from games and kill people but not much about how strong they are. Even though reds fire would normally be devastating, EXE would probably just stand there laughing. But there is one thing that barely counts. When red was fighting red without the blue spirit. He could feel the pain of all of reds attacks. This means he might be able to do the same to EXE. But if that doesn't work then it's kinda a stalemate.
