Sonic - Final Zone Orchestra

An orchestrated version of the Final Zone from the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I haven't released a new Sonic remix in a while and wanted to try one this morning. I tried to experiment a little so it's not amazingly close to the original. I also composed it from ear so there may be duff notes here and there.

Wow. The feeling I got when I first heard this. My brother and I grew up to one of the best gaming consoles besides the SNES and Sonic was a staple in our lives. No matter how old I get, I will have a special place for this special hedgehog. This version is the best out on KZbin. I listen to this while I work out. I nearly cried on how epic and emotional I felt upon hearing. Props to the arrangement. You should make it longer. This should end up on the Sonic movie when sonic battles Eggman.

I demand a long/full version! I think most remixes suck more or less, but this one reeeally get things going! Wow, actually sounds professional. You already have most variations you can put into it. Make it longer, and you have a piece for a real motion picture soundtrack.

This and Bakarius' versions are the best sonic final boss remixes ever :) Hard to say which I prefer, this is very nice with the chorus and Bak.R has a lot of intensity in his version. In short, I'm jealous that I couldn't do something like it XD

The only letdown here is that the original beginning of the track is not included. Other than that, marvelous. I love the addition of vocals near the end. For my money, I think an orchestrated rendition of the Final Zone of Sonic and Knuckles would be particularly epic. (Not the Doomsday Zone, but the boss before that).

So good, so short.... but it's alright. I was almost reminded of Two Steps From Hell at one point, but before I knew it, it was over (well, the song). Still a great piece you've got there. There isn't much more you could do other than consider going down a creative path for what is, after all, a rather short loop of melody to begin with!
