In Forces, where they heavily focus on the story, you should expect it to be a decent length. And not just that, the levels are way smaller and way worse designed, so that's also a problem.

I looked this up a while back, and this includes Sonic Mania. Even if Sonic used the Chaos Emeralds to activate his Super Form, the Phantom Ruby can cancel out the Emeralds power and Super Form, even the Master Emerald.

Sonic was too stiff and linear compared to titles like unleashed where he felt perfect and actually fast. When you boost in forces is just gives the illusion of speed when really it just brings him to top moving speed instantly. There was like 5-7 levels and the reused stages don’t count. Classic sonic has no momentum in his movement. The levels were wayyyy too short. Infinite’s final fight was just metal sonic reskined. I could keep going on. I want this series to do better but they keep rushing it for the holidays. Too many corners were cut with this game. Only redeeming factor would be the music and the nullspace level for using fist bump

The Impossible Dingo save for Mortar Canyon, MAYBE Aqua Road, and no doubt classic Chemical Plant, the game was VERY linear. They even re-used level sections in some cases!

Network Terminal, Null Space, Ghost Town... Anyway this video again demonstrates that all of the levels aren't as linear as people say such as with those hidden areas above the sand slide in Lost Valley and can you prove the re-used level sections? The only really really linear levels I can think of are Final Judgment, Egg Gate and Iron Fortress and sorta Imperial Tower although that was a bit like S3&K's Death Egg. Final Judgment was pathetic I'll admit, Egg Gate was short and linear but it was really cinematic. Iron Fortress was a shithole but for more reasons than linearity

First go to any modern level (except the bosses) and you will see sonic's face in tbe top right hand corner and toggle using the control stick to change it to super sonic's face then play the level like normally and once you get 50 rings the game will turn sonic into super sonic.
