The problem with Super Sonic is that he's insanely situational. How you do in races is entirely in the hands of the opponents. Sometimes, it's literally just going to be impossible to win using him.

I want to be one of the knights, get in a random race, and boom everyone is different characters from Knight of the Wind. I kinda had that happen once recently where I was lancelot, then there was Excalibur Sonic, and Percival, and a regular Knuckles. legit shame to say but was 4th place and lost 13 trophies but it was still exciting

You know, I'm not even surprised that he isn't good in this game. I'm already used to seeing him be weak in racing games. Yet somehow despite these things I always for some reason end up maining Super Sonic. I don't know why but it just feels so good to be a underdog then suddenly make a comeback in games like Riders, Zero Gravity and this. I'm so attached to Super Sonic in racing games that I'm just unable to not pick him.

well, at least, super sonic helps you with those misions of "don't get more than 80 rings in races"... But yeah, he's a bad character and i think he needs a buff or a rework, also, the fact that characters with electric attacks can destroy the boost item (like shadow or amy) forcing the super sonic get another item box... Just hope that they do something with super saiyan sonic ;(

Super Sonic is a very interesting character. He's moreso about precise spacing and rewards those who have learned each track inside and out. Playing as him is a fun challenge and, despite being a hit situation, is extremely satisfying if the player times everything right. Managed to get a gigantic amount of his cards...but unfortunately I'm short of rings and have to wait. My advice for getting lots of cards is to pay for mission resets only when they're below 20 Red Rings. Otherwise just wait out the timer and do it again. Saves on Red Rings (which you can gain back faster than you can spend them thanks to the daily free chests always having 3 and Super Rare missions often giving 20 Red Rings should you watch a short ad.) which is very crucial after all the wild spending that happened thanks to the Rapid Recap event.

Hey i have some questions since im new so how do i get 20 red star rings a day? Cuz i only get 6 from the chest or do i need to be on a specific level? 2nd idk how does vault work since it says that it has a time limit, What does that mean? Does it mean i get my rewards when it ended or it just reset when it ended and i really need this info since i just got super sonic yesterday and i got him to lvl 3 today but i only got 6 days and its starting to get real hard so please answer my questions and if you can please give me tips

@@masteryo4982 Don't worry, I gotcha. 1. The Free Chests do have a timer for when you can receive them, but you can generally get at least two per day. It's just about logging back on when the next Free Chest is available. There's no levelling up Free Chests. Additionally you can earn Red Rings through certain missions which always gives 10. Watch an ad and you'll get 10 more. Quite easy honestly. 2. Don't worry about the vault. It opens and you receive the rewards after paying real life money, so it isn't worth it. Just ignore it altogether. General Tips 1. For Special Events you really want, time when you play so you start playing again right as the event mission's timer is up. Also I recommend just spending 5 red rings right after completing a event mission, then wait for the timer to finish after completing the mission. 2. Advice for using Super Sonic, remember that you need to be very skilled to master him. Without any boosts to use or shields, you'll have to play well and keep up with the other racers. Make sure you have 100 rings before transforming and time when you transform so Super Sonic reverts back to base form right as you hit the finish line, getting the most usage out of the Super form. How well he'll do depends on the track, so ones that are longer with not as much rings (such as Dash Vegas or Mining Mayhem) aren't in his favour. On the other hand, tracks like Street Retreat are great for Super Sonic. 3. Special characters are very expensive to upgrade. If you're low on rings, don't waste any Red Rings to get more. Just wait until you have enough so you can spend the Red Rings on more important matters (such as resetting Event Missions). If you balance how much you spend well enough, you'll slowly have a netgain of Red Rings. I went from a measly 200 to 500 in a month or two. You can do the same! 4. Don't give up! The more time you spend on the game, the more experience you'll gain. Good luck out there runner. Show the world what you're made of.

I swear, Super Sonic is only really good at Max LVL. Until then it's just upgrading his boost and attacks.Then lvl 16 is 30 starting rings which is basically the same start of speed as 35 :v

I like and hate him, i like the idea and that he can pose as a final rush to which near the end he can possibly take 1st place. But also hate he is just regular Sonic. No different with his traps and attacks. I also hate that if you are against him and had been I'm lead, the opponent using him will just yeet to the finish- it is a curse and a blessing

They should have just made him go Super in the beginning of the race and have it where the more rings you collect the faster you go. It would be twice the speed than normal racers and your endurance will increase more too.

The problem with super Sonic is that he was never supposed to be balanced, he's an unlockable reward after you've collected all the chaos emeralds in the mainline games, which granted you an invincible form once you've collected 50 rings. Putting him as a playable character separately is a bad idea from the start because it would be impossible for him to be balanced as a character and not completely OP compared to the rest of the roster, so they reduced him to an ability of a worst Sonic variant. Super Sonic in this game is not a character, just an ability.

I agree with you, Super Sonic isn't that great... He is very hard to use and only pro players can play well with (spend money for high level 🤣). I'm disappointed about him. I think the main problem is that you can't get a shield to protect yourself... They must balance this. Did you buy the vault?

I would have bought the Vault (had almost 900 shards for me) if he was actually good. I came back after years and easily beat low level players but when I climbed from 1k to 4.5k, I started getting bodied. Mine's only level 6. Maybe they'll do Super Shadow some justice. Time to uninstall again.
