Maaaaan, what a TRASH character! You're too slow at the start of the race, you have too few rings and if you take any damage, you're DONE! No chance to catch up, since your boost eats rings, which you don't even have many to begin with! Even if you upgrade him, the boost is still terrible beyond redemption. This is just plain stupid and makes no sense.
Sorry, guys, couldn't take it anymore and switched to normal Knuckles.

I used Rouge because of the mission, and because of the gold rush boost, it was a disaster. I got 4th place, 4 times in a row. Most of the item is great, but boost ruins the character.

The boost is really bad which is why despite it being knuckle's first special variant I won't use it after the event is done and I'm not even going to try to get Rouge,I hope they change it to a normal boost because consuming rings to boost is really bad in this game right now

What lame special characters, especially after how fun Excalibur Sonic was. A boost that drains your rings makes absolutely no sense because it puts you at such a disadvantage, especially since most people will have him at like 5-10 starting rings I thought it would be like you stole rings from other people if you passed them or something also lightning is super lame as a projectile but that's probably just my dumb preference Nevertheless, good showcase of the character!

Like I said, pretty sure it's random. Throughout the event the Rouge team was leading, then right before the end it changed. Pretty this thing is random and players' input has no influence on the end result. All this does is makes you think you need to play more to change the outcome. More time spent in the game - more profit to the devs.
