This feels abit surreal, it's like one of those dreams you think would never come true but then it pops out of nowhere! This was my first time ever playing Free Riders, got to say I had a blast. I will never understand why SEGA didn't do this, way better remake than Colors Ultimate.. lol

How did you get the game to run at higher resolutions? I havent been able to test free riders yet but on other games editing the resolution in the Xenia config causes graphical glitches

Because Colors was praised unlike Free Riders. And btw, Colors wasn't remade, it was REMASTERED

On the other hand, I know a lot of people were disappointed by Colors Ultimate but, as someone who never played the original Colors, I would say that it's a decent remaster

I like it when modders try to salvage something good from a bad game but all these stages were designed around the unresponsive Kinect controls and thus are devoid of challenge for anyone with precision controls.

Yeah these stages are really easy compared with the other Riders Games but it's fun and have really cool themes PD: I'm don't speak english

I got a Kinect just to play this game and I've deeply regretted it ever since. imo this game has a few issues beyond the control scheme, but at least it's PLAYABLE now.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This is proof that without the mod, Sonic Free Riders could have been a solid game if Kinect _wasn't_ the only control option and you could play it with a regular controller.

For what it is, it's an amazing mod... but there seems to be a problem with turning, especially for the power class. That's most likely due to the fact that this is a game optimized for the Kinect only lol

This is actually (although not close to being the best Sonic game) one of the great Sonic games I’ve ever played (and it is also not terrible as Sonic Boom games), one of the reasons why I still own it today with Kinect. It’s gameplay, graphics, and features are amazing. I still have trouble with controls though, but got used to it for most of it, and the hover bike control is well controllable as had no problem with it. Nevertheless, the game is fast, just like most of the Sonic games and best Sonic games, while not too fast in the way for too hard in catching up. But one thing I hate about it is the fact that you can’t use Xbox 360 controller for gameplay, one of the features or control options Sega or Sonic team should have added, and make Kinect optional and not required for gameplay sake

For the most part it's very similar. The big difference is using the hands with the right stick. Also there's no drifting yet.

The IA in this game was so nerfed, just look how much difference you make with them, not that you cant do it in the other 2 games but here is way quicker compared to the other ones, they really messed up the game with the Kinect

As solid as the controls might be with the mod the level design is literally so empty and boring because it was made for you to only use the motion controls. So it's still mediocre game at best, but that's just my opinion

Even with this change still won’t change anything I still think it’s the worst game in history at least 06 can play with a controller despite the flaws that I completely understand. Why would Sega make this as a stupid Kinect game until this very day and made a mod for the controller option they could’ve just done it from before but they just rushed it along with other bad 3D modern games Generations Isn’t that bad in my opinion played the demo on Xbox 360 and it was a blast you’re rather be playing Ring fit over this game and call it a day no question !
