They are only amazing if the only games you touched in your life are sonic games. The moves look cool, that doesn't mean there is a lot of depth to the combat or make it fun. It gets old seeing that movie after the first time, you have to make the combat actually good.

the attack combo finishers are direction based: Forward- Top Kick (high kick) Backward- Sonic Eagle (axe kick) Side- Windmill (roundhouse kick) No Input- Homing Dropkick (couldn't find a sonic battle equivalent)

​@@StickmanGuides Yeah, it's more spinning than actually rolling, wich is nice change of pace, since Sonic can actually fight and not just roll, the problem is most mainline games just boil it down to the Spin Attack, Homing Attack, Light Speed Dash, Stomp, Boost and Quick Step, and most of his othe techniques are in spin-offs that most people don't really know about.

I'd really like Platinum Games make on the next Sonic game, they would be perfect for it, since they made Bayonetta, also Astral Chain, and Vanquish, and they are also under Sega. Bayonetta also kinda reminded me how Sonic should fight in a game, like how she can slow down time as well after a perfect dodge, making her go super fast, Sonic should have something like that. I'd really like a Sonic game that's more combat focused, but fast-paced combat. Of course, Sonic can still have have the classic fast running sometimes, but that won't the majority of the game. The game needs good pacing, a perfect balance of combat, fast running, and platforming.

Something about this seems so funny to me is when they tell you that you can use the slide yet none of the level design in the game actually motivates you to do that This is also happening with shadow generations with the biolizard fight only having jumps
