this year have the best overlay imo. it helps to see who is talking because i dont often recognize the people on the couch. also since some runs have the couch and or the runner with a mask on.

You just gotta appreciate a speedrun where the runner zips around at a speed that gives you vertigo for a full hour, but takes a calm little break to go fishing. (Also: What is the ecosystem in what appears to be a small forest lake?!)

Only the "open zone" islands are physical locales. All the stages and the fishing holes are in cyberspace, so they're entirely digital realms constructed from Sonic's memories and needn't be concerned with ecosystems. Sonic doesn't seem like the type who goes fishing in his free time, but that's the lore of cyberspace, so I guess he does.
