Sonic Frontiers. Giganto boss fight with all interactions and no HUD.

After my compilation of bosses made harder with mods, I had another idea.
Removing most HUD elements and showing most of the bosses interactions and secret attacks in one video (now in 60fps and 1440p)
This boss was beaten using the buffed titans mod, being level 1 on every stat and with a reduced parry window.

So, Sonic in his regular state caps out below beings who can destroy the planet. *Super Sonic* regularly throws hands with forces and entities that can shred spacetime like tissue paper. Giganto didn’t just go from 0 to 100 in making Sonic bring out the golden god, he went from 0 to _incalculable._

The first time, the boss barely flinched. That moment, you knew Sonic wouldn't pull it off no matter how hard he tried. Nice for the story to unwear him from the plot armor to show off how serious of a threat the Titans pose. Now, when it's finally time for round 2, you know Sonic is not holding back now that he can overpower the Titan. This time, the Titan is in serious trouble. The revenge is supreme. Nothing beats coming back stronger than ever before to fight and destroy who destroyed you the first time.

@@noirerblx you can do the hard-knock in the game. It's pretty hard to do consistently, but what I come to a conclusion I that giganto has two attacks moves that you can parry, and the first one seems to be the most consistent to do it. What you have to do is either cyloop him before he attacks, or after he attacks the first time, then cyloop him. Then attack him in the head a few times and cyloop his head to throw him to the ground. If you don't do that and wait after he attacks the second time or he gets to his second phase, he won't get knocked out. Also, it only works once. At least I believe it only works once as I haven't seen him get knocked out twice in a row, but I could be wrong.

Both are in the vanilla game. To get the hard knockdown you need to know 2 things. 1: You cannot do it in the second phase. 2: The more damage you deal to Giganto while he is in the air after the first cyloop, the more likely he is to instantly get up after the 2nd cyloop so if you want to maximise your chances of him getting hard knockdown I would suggest to instantly do the 2nd cyloop after only 1 hit.

I would like these fights to feel more dynamic. Most of the time it feels like the bosses just stand there to get hit and then they do an attack that can be parried by holding a button without worrying about timing, returning to the hit me state for another seven seconds or so. If they made the bosses a bit more aggresive and force the player to time their parries, then the combat would become much more challenging, yet gratifying

Anyone else think it's stupid that the game is like "Who knows where the last emerald is, we can't find it anywhere!" then in a pop up it's just like "climb up and become super sonic" There is literally no indication that the emerald is on his head before climbing him, why would you spoil that? If you really wanted the player to be confident that they'll get the last emerald, the cutscene where Giganto turns to face you is the PERFECT time to show that the emerald is on his head! Then sonic's smirk as he looks up at Giganto can also show that he noticed the emerald, and boom, no weird pop up spoiler I mean come on, that's so obvious
