We finally got our first Open World Mod!! If you're curious there isn't a jungle area. I'm super excited to learn that Open your Heart is no longer copyrighted on KZbin (I bet Live and Learn is the same).

It's like the Mario odyssey's SM64 island. Except Sonic frontiers have Mystic ruins from SA1! Imagine if it's a secret island reward for 100% completing frontiers, Including the dlc.

I mean, let’s look at the facts. By the end of the year we will have Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, and Tails as playable characters and we have a Big the Cat fishing minigame. I think it’s entirely possible that a pretty decent “Project Sonic Adventure” mod could be made based on Sonic Frontiers. (we can even have gamma if someone mods that light/dark laser mini game from chaos island.) Maybe each of the islands could represent a major area from Sonic Adventure? Kronos Island could be the mystic ruins Aries Island could be the ancient echidna area Chaos Island could be the egg carrier And then, between the last two you could decide which would be station square in which would be the chao garden

I been wanting some hub world mods. This is so interesting to have this one floating above Kronos Island. I hope some more of these kinds of mods soon come into the game.

Imagine implementing a super polished looking Angel Island and Station Square into the game. That would just be incredible seeing it from a distance! Add the Ark in the sky as well. xD

I don’t think they ever will but I’d love a sound pack that makes sonic sound like older voice actors and have the jump sounds and such from the different games

Hmmm... This needs a bit of work. Blocking off paths that would normally be loading zones, the waterfall+water needs to be made real, trees have straight up floor leaves and last but not least, the lighting. Otherwise it's a nice start.

Mystic ruins Island looks absolutely brilliant and fantastic also Sonic Adventure is my favourite 3D Sonic game of all time. 💙🦔💙

On a completely unrelated note I wanna say in the next sonic frontiers I NEED better cyberspace designs like eggmanland or something. Even better idea imagine MID LEVEL it just changes how the stage looks and plays for a second. Imagine being in a 3d angel island you go to a tunnel now you are in mystic cave take a spring that sends you to the sky you are now in a GOOD marble zone. That would be sick as hell

This is what we want, themed locations and set pieces, not barren maps with random geometry placed all over.. Is it too much to ask for? Granted you can argue it is for a gameplay aspect but it still feels lacking. In the 1st adventure game, everything felt connected, cohesive, and purposely placed which made the world feel believable. Anyone who played knows going to each location was the best thing in the 1st adventure game! ~ Crimson

the video in question: barren map with random geometry there's no platforming here its literally just running around an empty map with some enemies placed at least frontiers had platforming

Now this is happenin! Does this mod replace an existing hub or can it just be added to the list of open zones? Because if it is the latter, I'm predicting a golden era for this game regardless of what dlc we'll be getting.

@@sonicovertime OH. I see it now. It's just appended. I still wish we could turn these into their own zones using the hub select screen. If modders accomplish that, then we will be getting new zones for a decade

@@randomd00d19 I mean you probably could turn it into it's own zone, but the fact they can add it to existing zones is pretty cool to. We could add the ark in the sky, or station square in Rhea. That would lowkey be epic.

Hey Sonic Overtime sonic sandbox got a few updates since the last time you played like Classic super sonic storybook sonic rush sonic and a new map (that totally wasn't a contest level) would be nice if you played it again

If we get another adventure game I hope it controls like frontiers sonic with a tweak to momentum. One of the best controlling sonics in my opinion. (In 3D. 2D controls are hot garbage)
