Sonic Gears (aka Sonic Regnant) 2019 Fangame Demonstration ✪ 2020 Sonic XS Public Beta Release

Sonic Gears (also known as Sonic Regnant) is a 2019 Fangame developed by AmzroSevca and built with the Rain Wave engine. Development of the Rain Wave engine began in 2018 and development of Sonic Gears soon followed. The Rain Wave engine was created with the goal of creating a physics platformer framework in the GDevelop game engine. Sonic Gears was one of the first attempts to create a Sonic fangame in the Gdevelop game engine. Unfortunately the project was lost due to an SSD failure and features such as loops or curved slopes were absent due to the limitations of the game engine back then.
