The general design of the stage reminds a lot of Sonic Adventure 2 stages, wide and long corridors, good space awareness for navigating or needing use of certain abilities, good grinding sections, and a lot of light dash situations (maybe too dependant, maybe there are some alternatives routes in certain areas but i didn't see them). I really liked it a lot!!!

I think this Sonic might just be smaller and the camera is zoomed in more than in Heroes giving the illusion of a larger environment. If it's not then they LITERALLY DOUBLED the size since he travels through it at half the pace you do in Heroes.

This is great, I have alot of ideas for porting levels to Sonic Generations but I'm kind of holding out in case of a Sonic Unleashed PC port, although Sonic Generations levels should in theory be fairly easy to port to Sonic Unleashed

the remaster in boost formula is cool and all but it really makes you appreciate the combat the adventure era but especially heroes had. i feel like its much more fun to casually speedrun games like sonic heroes and adventure cause it feels more like a game instead of the boost forumals reactionary gameplay that feels more like geometry dash or osu based than anything else. maybe thats why i liked the wearhog so much. heaps of freedom and exploration

I love this mod I really do, but it's kinda lacking, yeah sonic is a speed game and etc, but without the use of the wall jump in that one section it looks and probably feels like I'm holding the boost button through a tunnel. I've always thought sonic benefited from slow pace platforming, or non optional enemy waves to get to the next section. It would need to be done right but it's possible, and not consistently forced every 20 seconds.

The "Boost Fest" on display here is more an issue with level design than the game itself. This is just a badly designed level with very little to do other than boost forward. Generations is capable of more balanced gameplay, but custom level makers seem to always want their entire level to be a speed section.

Ashnal The Boost Gameplay still effects how this level was played out and made it much less technical than it originally was. That's why I want it to get ditched. It's more trouble than it's worth and keeps Sonic from doing much else than holding forward and Boosting through 60% of the Stage.

Stop acting like your some prestigious person because you played Sonic Adventure or Sonic 3. Platforming is easily the weakest part about the series. Its not fun and mostly boring and slow. All people did in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 was find slopes to exploit the spindash with. Nobody legit plays Sonic Heroes because how slow it is and it's pure platformer where your only options are doing what your told and jumping. If you want a a good platformer with Sonic play Advance 3, even still that game is about exploiting the level design to make the game more enjoyable.

i swear this version is so much better than that ver that angel released where you have to hit a switch and wait for the door to open if i wanted a door switch i would play the original heroes game but in this game it makes sense that you can boost through the door because sonic is more powerful than heroes game era but like most dev's he listened to the cries of the sonic fanbase that are "up and down and all around" (lol) and added switches to slow the pace and wait for the door to open. sigh btw good playthrough m8

This is literally a perfect stage design! I'm not just saying this because it reflects the Sonic Heroes version well, I'm saying it properly mixes in the boost formula mechanic with the parkour side of the Adventure series games and minimalizes the use of rail grinding. It's also great that's there's no 2-dimensional camera angles making it truly 3-dimensional. This design right here should become the basis for how a stage in future Sonic games (if there is any) to be designed, but not exactly copied from this.
