It's because there huge different between a fan and a developer of the team. A developer wants money more then creative gameplay and a fan wants to create the coolest and most creative thing that can come out of there head of there favorite stage or fan stage

While I'll agree he didn't word it the best, I understand what he meant. Let's be real here, at the end of the day, the developers do this as a job, they do it to get paid, they might enjoy that work, but don't forget everything they do is for a paycheck. It is near impossible for them to put the same amount of love and care that a fan modder puts into their projects. And you know why, right? Because the modder isn't getting paid. They're doing it quite literally as a labor of love, because they have passion, and a deep love for the franchise. They get nothing out of it other than some thanks on the internet, and the satisfaction of them making something potentially amazing. This is why fan mods for pretty much any game, whether they be entirely different levels, custom skins, etc., REALLY show how much love and care went into them, because that's all the modder had to give, expecting nothing in return.

Very impressive. Everything appears to be very intricate and thought out, especially how to implement water-segments effectively. There appears to be elements of the original stage, but stylized to Generations' 3D controls. Amazing. I'd really like to see a rhythm Sonic level if that is even possible.

This phase is very cool! Mainly because they remade it in Sonic Generations! Gigantic nostalgia of this phase, I played for the first time in my Nintendo DS Lite when I was 3 years old and lived in Japan. Even Sonic Rush was one of the first Sonic games I had contact with.

1:21 that second orange ring guides me into the spikes below. what is going on and why is it doing that to only me? all i did was copy and paste the mod into the gmi mods folder didnt change anything. it doesnt guide me to the underwater fan only to the death plane below.
