With the additions this version has (the Drop Dash & Chao collecting), and the fact that it took 13 years for this to come out after the original, you’d think they would’ve adjusted Super Sonic to be more like what you’d expect. But nope; Still drains 2 rings per second, still the same speed, still the same jump height, and still the absolute drop that happens when flying as Modern Super Sonic. This is the prize for beating the game! Shadow’s Doom Wings work better as a Super form than this; Drains 1 ring per second, rechargeable boost, limited flight (that doesn’t drain a bunch of rings per second), and still keeps Shadow invincible! And you get it before you’re done with the game! Is it really too much to ask that Super Sonic be better in this game?!

man, how do you disable the flying for modern, i'd rather be able to use normal boost

No way, you DO drain 2 rings per second instead of one! Yeah, they definitely need to patch Super Sonic in Sonic x Shadow Generations

No; Classic’s ring drop goes down at the normal rate; Modern’s drains more because you’re boosting to fly across parts of the stage; hence he burns through more rings faster.

@@BassDS1990 At 5:37, you can clearly see Classic Super Sonic’s ring counter going down faster than the clock is ticking up. Both Classic & Modern Super Sonic drain at 2 rings per second, not counting the 8 rings per second Modern Super Sonic drains when boosting through certain segments.

Sonic Generations Classic Super Form Drains Rings Per 0.50 Seconds And Modern Super Form Too But Guess It Drains Per 0.25 Seconds And Shadow Generations Doom Wings Drains Rings Per 1 Second
