It is M.U.G.E.N and I really never saw a meaning for the letters or something but it is a traditional fighting game engine where you can any character, stage, lifebar and screenpack (menu HUD) that has been made by the Mugen community or yours if you know how to code. This is an example of a Mugen full game, as Mugen is usually used like g-mod but with fighting games, sometimes they made full games out of it like this.

@@anouaressanoussi I think is called Mugen because it means dream or infinite and fits and the points because it looks cool I don't know. And yeah, every traditional fighting game it's a bit unorthodox on keyboard but as long as you fingers don puzzle and your keyboard can register lots of keys being pressed together and let commands that require two keys you'll be fine.

Loving the concept so far. One thing I think they could add for balance is "chip damage"; like if you're blocking for long periods like around the 3 minute-someting mark, most fighting games would have you take at least a little damage for some of that. (Or even have the "heavy attacks" break the Block after a certain threshold) Ironically I guess Chip helps prevent "chip damage". Maybe that's The Point and I missed it? But if that's a universal thing with every character/form blocking then, maybe some way to still deal damage (not whole damage but a small % damage) or have a way to break the block would help with the balancing imo. (That's if we're basing this off of more mainstream fighting games but, heck who am I to tell them how to make the game. If it works for this one then it works) Wanna add that I am LIVING for the sprite animations in this. Incredible and amazing BG work too. Ngl wishing Amy was a playable character off the rip cuz if her moveset is similar to OG Sonic Battle, she'd be a decent Melee/Close Combat character imo. It's weird a fan-combo like Shadic got a spot before Amy to me, but this is a fan creation and I'm honestly impressed with their interpretation of Shadic. Omg the art for Super Shadow?! Amazing. And they gave Emerl a similar color palette to Cream the Rabbit?! 😭 okay devs take my money. Honestly wish I had a way to play this on mobile 😭😭 This is just a love letter to fans everywhere honestly. (Also ngl I can't help but laugh with Knuckles. That's consistent with OG Sonic Battle at least in my experience 🤣😭 Some things never change I guess. Edit Edit, living for the upgrade to his Meteor Attack!! That's what I've always wanted for that move. Just yes!)
