This is how I’d like to see a Sonic Cartoon. One where you can put the Sonic characters in almost any situation and just have the characters be their characters. A bit action is always nice to see too. Also the Jokes here work because all of the characters stay in character. No one’s personality is flanderize for the sake of a Joke. Is is strange that this is nostalgic for me? As a fan of many years, this feels so similar to the old "Balena" style of videos (Sonic in Jaws, Scared Stupid, and oddly even some of Sonic Zombies)... not to mention that it's GREAT! Everything just worked out great in this. The original music, and the video and general, had plenty of touches and references, while keeping the cinematic feel, that made me smile and laugh many many times... so great job with the music composition! Also, I've never seen Robotnik animated with such emotion before. The characters look and act genuine, something that the games just struggle with. Incredible work on this, Steve! It’s really apparent that you poured your heart into this, and it really paid off! The animation was stellar, the expressions and mannerisms felt true to the characters while also remaining comedic, and overall it was just a damn fun watch.
