It's the morning after Sonic and Tails met, and Sonic has made the decision for the two to be brothers. But to make such a change is not as simple as that, as Tails still suffers heavily from the trauma of the past few months of his life. For Tails to truly be at home, Sonic will have to do all he can to maintain Tails' fragile sense of trust, and the trust of both will be put to the test.

I don't know if you saw the first episode but he's only 2 years old here, he doesn't remember his parents, got bullied by 3 others/tied to a flagpole/got a bloody nose in the first episode, didn't have a home, and was never given any form of love from the moment he was born. So Tails having so much PTSD from feeling abandoned makes a lot of sense. Going 2 years without anyone loving you does a lot to a person let alone such a young child.

THIS WAS SO CUTE OMG Edit: I feel bad for Tails when he was home alone, especially when he started having flashbacks of all those bullies calling him a freak, having to go through so many emotions alone. I also felt bad when Sonic came back, and Tails was hiding from Sonic. This episode was so heartwarming, and I feel it gave us more of a perspective of Tails. The wait was SO worth it, the Tails That Bond Episode 3: Trust was awesome and fully of brotherly comfort. Childhood trauma can take time to heal from depending on the severity for many, like Tails’ case where after being left an orphan since his parents passed away whatever reason, and being abused and bullied out on the streets for so long. But with Sonic’s love and care, he’ll eventually feel better bit by bit.❤️

I love everything about this series! I loved the conversation about Eggman between Tails and Sonic! It was sad to see Tails think he was left behind at the beginning… And even though I knew Sonic would come back later… It was so sad to see Tails think that he was abandoned yet again… To think that Sonic was just tricking him… You do a really good job to show the ever growing brotherly bond between Tails and Sonic! Keep up the good work, man!

Speaking of Eggman, since Sonic is said to be 9 in this series and Tails is 2, makes me wonder if Eggman is a teenager like 16 or mayb already 18. And yes I loved that conversation too when he explained about his battle against Eggman.
