Personally i prefer the Sonic Mania version of Act 2 because the chime at the beginning isn't off tune and annoying, plus it is seemingly based off the original tune in the Sonic 3 Prototype (if you what i mean), too bad you didn't used that but the final version seems to sound fine here i guess.

The Mania version doesn’t use the prototype instrument. Also, how is the beginning xylophone out of tune?

YM2612 #0, 1 & 2. The same as the "Channel 5, 6 & 7", but with a different label!

@@lucasgames1400 doesn't the ym2612 have six FM channels? with the sixth as an FM or DAC?

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but.... i think i see what happened.... the YM3812 has nine FM channels while the 2612 has six still a excellent cover though.
