Besides a few graphical errors, I really love the reimagined zones here! The act 2 levels are the real highlights here. I'm hoping to see some new bosses or zone gimmicks now that we're in a period after the Sonic Mania decompilation cause it really sucks when you're so invested in a level atmosphere, but to only see the Hydrocity boss and remember that "oh yeah, this is a Sonic Mania mod..".

Shame about all the broken graphics. It's kinda funny how half of Sonic 1 is here (Marble, Labyrinth and Scrap Brain). In contrast, vanilla Mania only has Green Hill.

It's a great mod, although some parts of the game have a bug that causes the floating letters to ruin the sprite of the badniks or obstacles of the zones. I really like how they bring over the old zones to the mod that normal Mania doesn't contain and made remixed versions of the 2nd acts, too. It was great seeing that one of their bosses were original, but all the rest should've been as well to add to the personalization. Apologize for the late arrival, but I'm more than glad to be here on this longplay. See ya tomorrow Jaypin 💯

Maybe its just me but while the mod is absoulety spectacular I feel like the moding team should use there skills to make an actual sonic fangame instead of just mods

Sonic fans love to complain about the reuse of Green Hill, Chemical Planet, and other levels in games and just the reuse of older content in general, yet Sonic fans here makes a Mania mod that is only that, a compilation of older levels. Sonic fans don't know what they want. I just learn not to question it anymore.

no this pack uses the levels hated by the community and in addition there are west side island levels the pack is called the Misfits pack you have to understand that philosophy and that's the problem with little planet because no sonic cd is not not sonic 1.5 ok.

On one hand, Sky Base, I love 8-bit representation, on another no superior US CD soundtrack representation, which is part of the reason I hated base Mania, and making serious Collision Chaos future theme sound like dance music, which is another part of the reason I hated base Mania. Overall, it's very faithful to the base game for better and for worse, but I am still excited. Hope someone will make a version with the US CD track remixes when this comes out.
