It would also be a fun excuse to have Anna Kendrick sing for the mid-credits song since the movies also love having their own songs sung by celebrities. Of course, I want to hear as much music from the games in Movie 4 as possible. That's one of the things that made Movie 3 so special.

Amy doesn't neccesarily have to be from the future, remember she has her *Tarot cards* Which have been shown to predict the future somewhat accurately, hence why she was there for the events of CD to begin with. Its perfectly plausible that she had been admiring Sonic from afar like Tails, but once the Tarot showed imminent doom for Sonic she *immediately* jumped to help.

I know it might sound like a petty criticism, but I don't care, I don't want the fourth Paramount Sonic film to be called Sonic 4. The title of the fourth Paramount Sonic film should have a subtitle in it, like maybe Sonic The Hedgehog: Return To Mobius (for example). The Paramount Sonic films should now be entering their 'subtitled titles' era.

- Time Stones - G.U.N. hunting down Sonic with Metal Sonic (they would create Metal Sonic instead of Robotnik) - Amy is a fortune teller - SonAmy interactions (Dance Scene included) - Metal Sonic eventually becomes benevolent and betrays G.U.N - Sonic and Amy run from world to world to find the 6 Time Stones (but there’s a 7th One embedded into Metal Sonic) - Cameos of other Sonic characters (Cream, Vanilla, Chaotix, Tangle, Whisper, etc.) - Epic and Emotional Third Act with Metal Sonic Army fusing into the Metal Overlord (Chaos Control freezing time) with only Sonic, Amy, and Shadow able to move freely

I wouldn’t mind Sonic and Amy being a couple by the end of Sonic 4 especially since Sonic is different from how he is in the games and behaves a lot more like a teenager in the movies. Assuming Sega allows it, you can have a good romance as long as it feels believable that the leads get together. Although in the movie universe, Sonic and Amy should feel more cute than romantic.

​@@SuperGamerxlI'm thinking a relationship like Hiccup/Astrid mixed with Teen Titans (the original TV cartoon) Robin/Starfire would be the best way to show Sonic and Amy as a girlfriend and boyfriend. Plus, Tom and Maddie saying something along the lines of "They're so much like us when we were dating." would be really wholesome and cute. 😁🥰 If Sonic and Amy *do* become a couple, I don't think it ought to happen in Amy's first appearance. It would be better if that they have slow burn ship-teasing from both of them and perhaps Shipping on Deck from the other characters, but actually getting together could happen after the course of several movies. Not everyone is going to be happy to have Sonic and Amy as a couple (though I believe it could work well for them in this universe), so it might be worthwhile that they get the fans to warm up to the idea by ship-teasing them throughout this film and possibly some others. If more fans respond positively to getting Sonic and Amy together, the writers are going to feel more convinced that making Sonamy canon for the films is the right call. This worked for Broppy (Branch and Poppy) from the Trolls franchise, so I believe it will also work well for Sonic and Amy. Not everyone will be happy with this, but I hope that *most* fans will be.

I've seen tons of movies where Junkie XL composed the music and he always misses, they really just need someone who wants to honor the music from the games instead of avoiding it, like the Mario movie.

I forgot where I heard this quote, but the best soundtracks don't actually draw attention to itself, that it's job should be to engross you so much in the moment, that you feel it instead of hear it. Yes it's hype to hear "Live and Learn", but credit should be given to scoring that doesn't take away from the impact of dramatic scenes. I love video games and OSTs, but this art of scoring seems to be lost on gamers.

The only SPECIFIC want I have for movie 4 is that Amy acts like Amy. I don't want a movie Princess Peach situation where all of her cute, fun, girly traits are replaced with generic hyper competent action hero "girlboss" traits. Like, she doesn't need it to be dialed up to 11 or anything, but let our girl be temperamental, let her be passionate, let her get heart eyes over her crush on Sonic. They've been SO good about these characters, Sonic himself aside, I'd hate for their Amy to be translated that unfaithfully. Like, maybe you could justify it by having it be Amy hardened from living in a "Bad Future", but still.

I’ve been thinking about how they might do it a lot, and I was thought it might be pretty cool if they do some sort of 2 part time travel story or 2 interconnected time travel stories. With a time travel plot based on Sonic CD in Sonic 4 leading directly into (hopefully) Silver’s introduction in Sonic 5. Perhaps they think they’ve saved the day and everything has turned out for the better at the end of Sonic 4. But then Silver comes in in the post credits or something and it turns out they’ve actually done something that accidentally totally screws over the future (as is easy to do when it comes to time travel. Butterfly effect and all that). Or it’s just one big time travel adventure. Who knows. But that could work very well especially with how complex a subject time travel is and it’s a good way to raise the stakes even further and have an even grander adventure than Sonic 3 (which could otherwise be a difficult feat to achieve) It also kinda works well with some of the rumoured spinoffs they’re planning and what characters might show up in Sonic 4. While he’s obviously returning in a major capacity eventually, I could see Shadow for example not being too present in Sonic 4. And if he does have any significant role I feel like it’d be towards the end. There’s also his hopefully upcoming series or movie to address which’ setting and release is very up in the air right now but logically seems like it would probably take place immediately following Sonic 3. Since the events of Sonic 4 will have to happen almost immediately after Sonic 3 (certainly no more than a few weeks based on what I can tell) it doesn’t give much downtime for for spinoffs to happen (though to be fair, there does seem to be a gap of at least a couple years between Sonic 2 and 3 so they can use that space for some stuff like maybe a Knuckles season 2). There’s also not much production time between movie 3 and 4, especially if they decide to make it a movie. And ideally it’d be nice to get as much of the same team as the main movies on board for it as possible (especially the writers and Jeff Fowler) and give it time to be well made. So I could see a Shadow spinoff taking place mostly concurrently with movie 4 (possibly exploring his movieverse origins and maybe introducing Team Dark. That’s my wishlist anyway lol) but not releasing until after Sonic 4. Then Shadow (and MAYBE Team Dark if they’re going to be in his spinoff?) could show up at the end of Sonic 4- maybe in time for the final battle, maybe after- right in time to play a major role in Sonic 5 (which checks out if it’s gonna be 06 inspired at all). And possibly hype people up for his spinoff if it isn’t out yet Idk lol, maybe I’m totally wrong. Sorry for rambling a bit! But these are just some of my thoughts rn with the very little we have to go off. There’s so much that could change in the next couple years after all 😅

My main theory is that G.U.N in this universe is working on creating the line of robots reminiscent of the cast. It would be poetic if they, alongside maybe Eggman who survived the blast & is being held prisoner, go through the robot duplicates (Silver - Mecha - Metal) in an attempt to replicate Sonic as just a mindless weapon for themselves. Only for them to accidentally create Neo Metal who becomes a bigger threat than anything they percieved Sonic as. It would make sense as G.U.N. in this universe has been shown to be actually WORSE than in the games. They are *straight up incompetent* , while also being paranoid & power hungry. The perfect idiots to accidentally create a machine uprising lol

I just hope they justify the whole Metal Sonic clones thing because what makes Metal Sonic special is that he's one of a kind and has some very impressive abilities to make him a good match for Sonic. If they just make him like Ultron who keeps replicating himself, not only is that less interesting but it also means you'd have to significantly nerf Metal Sonic's individual capabilities.

What I hope for Sonic 3 besides building off of the relationship between him & Amy, & the inevitable everyone teams up at the end, is to take full advantage of the Time Travel aspect. Going back in time to medieval knight era (Black Knight) or the Arabian knights times (Secret Rings) as well as glimpses at an Eggman amusement park (Unleashed or Colors) as well as a post apocalyptic future (Sonic 06) & that's just the Sonic references. 1970's New York Gangster film, 60's inspired Sci-Fi adventure, Silent era Charlie Chaplin antics, & of course a ZAVOK REFERENCE LEZ GOOOOOOO (LOST WORLD!!!!!!!!) Oh & Sonic getting closure with his mother figure Longclaw or something like that, whatever. IT'S ZAVOK TIME!!!!!

How I want them to write Amy in movie 4: (just my opinion) We all know Amy is strong and she’s capable of defending herself, but she’s not ashamed of asking for help from others. She loves helping others in any way she can, she’s compassionate and caring. But something that has been somewhat abandoned recently, is her temper. The writers shouldn’t be afraid to let her show her anger. Obviously not too much, but just enough. She should also not be afraid of showing her affections towards Sonic, not in a creepy obsessive way of course, but more of a subtle admirerer. She should also be able to click with Tails and Knuckles, since she’s an extrovert, and gets along with almost anybody. Again, just my opinion :)

ngl however they handle sonic and amy's romance (since i feel like they Have to add that in) im hoping sonic doesnt return any of amy's feelings 😢 imo, a part of sonamy's appeal to me is that while amy's feelings are largely not reciprocated, sonic stills sees her as a friend and would go out of his way to save her when she's in trouble. i kinda miss early 2000s amy too since i thought she was cute, but from what we were shown in the post credit scenes, i feel like that wouldnt happen but we'd get a more mature amy, she's really cute tho hehe also, idk if it's just me but i hope that sonic and metal sonic's final battle is a battle of speed, i like shadow and sonic, but it sometimes felt like shadow overpowers sonic, even in speed so i really hope sonic does show he is the fastest out of everyone ^^

Doubt if not most of what you're might be expecting going into Sonic 4 would be consider. Like I would love Sonic be more badass but he ties in the realm of heroes like Spiderman and Flash that are smart allick heroes but also be serious at times. It has always been the case with Sonic in every media. Same for Eggman where he comes off as a evil mastermind but has comedic cartoon villian style about him. And again it's a family movie where it has to go all serious through out. Either way these last 3 movies have been doing pretty amazing overall as it so I have least doubt that they'll do right again for Sonic 4.

(Here's the original comment I made more than two years ago as proof) I said I had a theory on this movie last stream, and here it is: I think that the theme for this movie is going to center around compassion and loss. I feel as if each movie so far has been similar to how Kung Fu Panda and its trilogy was structured, centering around the three main aspects to a person: body, mind, and spirit. The first Sonic movie focused on friendship and how to achieve it, the second movie focused on responsibility, and I believe that this movie will center around Sonic having to learn compassion considering Shadow's traumatic past. He can't be his usual, happy go-lucky self around Shadow because that won't help him conquer his demons. Just my thoughts though.

My one big concern about the movie is mainly the fact that they introduced Metal Sonic with clones of himself. To me Metal has always been interesting as an individual character with examples of stories that show this being the OVA, Sonic Heroes and the Sonic IDW Annual 2020 comic that shows him having an identity crisis. Hopefully they do something interesting with him in movie 4 because there's a big risk he might be treated as just a disposable minion.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is how IDW handled Robotnik's "death" in forces, where he ends up being found alive with amnesia in a small village ad "Mr Tinker" with NEO Metal taking reign of the badnik army with Amy and Tails being the ones who notice something's up. Pulling something similar to the NEO Metal saga could work well and a way to bring in a more cruel villain with Metal and a game series accurate Eggman

I want movie 4 to go off of Earth and bring in more characters. IMO we’ve had our fun with Earth and we need to actually explore this universe and other characters outside of humans. You could even tie into the theme of growing up with Sonic and gang ultimately deciding that the only way to truly keep Earth and their human friends safe is to go back to their true homes (I’m thinking something like Spider-Man No Way Home and How to Train Your Dragon 3).

Since I felt like I did a pretty decent job with my analysis on Sonic movies and their main themes, as well as was pretty spot on with the theory that the third would focus on loss and compassion, I may as well try to put forth a theory on what the fourth movie's theme will be. The first movie was all about friendships and how to get and maintain them. The second movie focused on responsibility, and how Sonic needs to use his new powers responsibly. The third movie focuses on compassion and loss, with Sonic having to deal with someone who's lost so much at such a young age, as well as the thought of his father figure potentially dying. This movie? My theory is that it will focus on love/romance. People are speculating that the typical roles of Amy crushing on Sonic will be reversed for the films, and that Sonic will have to navigate through these much more complex emotions he's never felt before, not even for dealing with Shadow. Time may get in the way of a lot of things, but one must always make room for love and care in their lives, otherwise you won't feel whole; you'll live a hollow existence. Face those new fears head on, and you'll be glad you did, because to love someone is truly special and wonderful! That's my take. Let's see how I do in two years from now when Sonic 4 comes out! 😊 💙 ♥️ 🩷

I remember I said on one of your streams a little while ago that I think Amy would be from the future and I remember you kinda waved it off then. Granted, I was tying her to Silver instead of Metal Sonic but that was because the movie wasn't out yet so we didn't know who was getting teased for Movie 4. Not an attack by the way. I'm just excited. Context for the comments, basically my theory was that Amy was Silver's friend from the future (instead of Blaze) and the plot sends them back in time to save the world. Amy would eventually meet Sonic and fall for him and when it's time for her and Silver to return to the future, Amy decides to stay in the past with Sonic and Silver returns alone. If this turns out to mostly be true (bar the friendship with Silver cos he'll probably be saved for movie 5 or 6), I will lose my mind! Edit: Just had an idea. What are the chances they pull a Sonic SATam and Amy + Silver are some of, if not the last of the freedom fighters against an alternate and even more unhinged and maniacal version of Eggman? (or maybe Stone) I don't think they'll be bringing in THE Freedom Fighters like Sally, Rotor, etc. (Though that would be awesome) but having Silver and Amy be introduced by infiltrating "Robotropolis", failing and then resorting to time travel to undo the whole future. In fact, there is a two-part episode in SATam where they literally try and do that!

She believes that behind the quips & hyperactivity, he is the good guy she fell in love with, and her faith is rewarded during the story. Now stuck in the past, she gets to see the journey that leads to him being the idol & hero that she came to & still admires. She's just along for the ride, & she wouldn't have it any other way.

Couple things for not only sonic 4 but also possible future moments in sonic movie universe: 1: metal sonic could have the heroes treatment and ben could be metal and have that voice changer to make it sound like metal maybe 2: Would be awesome if we got the super trio (sonic, tails, and knuckles) on the big screen at some point 3: maybe in sonic 4, maybe there could be an explanation with time stones or the chaos emerald time travel thing And just really a good dynamic with sonic and Amy and the rest of the cast and who knows, maybe Shadow could be some 5th on/off member to the team until team dark makes there debut in the future. I can't wait for sonic 4 but I do hope we have content in between in the meantime like a shadow movie or knuckles season 2 or tails show.

I do agree that if Jim Carrey *does* return as Eggman/Dr. Robotnik, I think it would be good idea if they made him an alternate universe version of Eggman rather than the Eggman who apparently died saving the world. It would make his send off much more satisfying. Also, I totally agree that Amy Rose ought to be a combo of her original self (though less of love sick fangirl) and her more mature Sonic Boom persona. It would be a good balance of everything fans love about Amy without making her too perfect and flawless, girl boss. While I love that Amy is an absolutely cool girl who can take down a whole group of Metal Sonic's, I still want her to keep her optimistism, compassion, and her overly enthusiastic energy. It would make her more fully fleshed out and not just a boring girlboss trope. I don't mind the Terminator references, though I hope they still do an original take on the film. While Amy *could* be from the future, I'm also open to the idea of her simply having the ability to see into the future and/or can possibly time jump. There's also a possibility that Metal Sonic can time jump as well, and maybe they've interacting through horrible circumstances, e.g. Amy's home being destroyed, etc.

I ldo like obessive girlfriend amy only because she isn't afraid to fight anyone for sonic. She would fight shadow and silver and bigger villians. but I think she works better when she plays the role of moral support and keeping team sonic together. On the last film they still are struggling with their cooperation and even knuckles and sonic went head to head. That's the kind of bridges amy resolves. Amy help them express their emotions and comradery. Boom amy was a little to bland for my taste and I don't think she had any fun scene besides her cute robo dog exploding. I consider her a generic female character with no unique traits or quirks.

1. My only problem with incorporating time travel into Sonic 4 is that it'll make the (potential) story of Sonic 5, if it truly introduces Silver & is based on the Sonic 2006 game, redundant. Though I suppose the plots would be different enough, two movies in a row where time travel is the main focal point leaves me somewhat skeptical. Also the possibility that Amy is from the future is slightly off-putting, as it means she can't hang out with the rest of the gang much, only making occasional appearances when she's needed (similar to how Silver and Blaze are in the games). Idk, hopefully they can still make it work. 2. I agree with your take on Amy's portrayal. As for her dynamic with Sonic, I actually think it'll be hilarious if he likes her first, while she develops her crush naturally throughout the movie by seeing his kind and heroic actions. 3. I think it would be SO hype if Rouge just shows up in Sonic 4 out of nowhere. She wasn't in the mid-credits scene, and if they don't tease her in the movie trailers, imagine how much people would lose their shit if she suddenly appears in some climactic moment in the movie lol. The more likely scenario is that she'll show up in Shadow's spin-off though, which will probably get released before Sonic 4. That way, Amy can still be the main focus, but Rouge can still be a vital character who already had a good introduction in the series. 4. This might be an unpopular opinion, but they gotta ever so slightly tweak Sonic's, well, everything. Don't get me wrong he's adorable & I love that he's got an actual character arc now, but idk it's like a combination of the childish jokes, Ben's voice/line delivery, and his design that just doesn't completely land for me. To me right now, movie Sonic is like the popular kid in middle school who thinks he's funny and cool, vs game Sonic who's ACTUALLY funny and cool lmao.

I would love to see something like Silver being the last one in the Bad Future, sending Amy back in time to try and help Sonic stop Eggman in the past. Maybe Movie 5 can truly reveal Silver to the series and maybe he realizes that Sonic is the "trigger" (not the IBLIS trigger), to creating Metal Sonic in the first place, which eventually creates a divide between Amy and Silver (like in Sonic '06) for the choice and chance of killing off Sonic as the last ditch effort to save the future. Sonic CD music IS A MUST. So many great ideas in this video! Can't wait to see what happens!

Ever since I saw the first movie, I thought that if we ever got Metal Sonic, it would be nice to hear his theme from Japanese Sonic CD or even Mania. I mean, imagine hearing it in the theater. Now that we know they can use music from the games and that Metal is a thing, its pretty much guaranteed. As for Amy (thank you Paramount and Jeff Fowler🙏), it'd be cool if they integrated a little bit of her story from SA1 where she gets captured and she befriends an Eggman robot. It doesn't have to be Gamma. Hell, it could be Mecha Sonic. We already know Amy's a badass here, so I would love to have her face obstacles that challenge her. They could even set the stage for Team Rose and have Big (and possibly Cream) in the same circumstance as her, but I might be getting ahead of myself.

On top of having Amy and Metal Sonic finally debut in the movie universe, I think what I hope more for Sonic 4, besides seeing Neo Metal Sonic/Metal Overlord on the big screen, is what will come out of it. As in, it's pretty damn clear this movie will take inspiration from the Metalix version of Metal Sonic, and if they are making such a deep cut, I can only pray other classic non-game characters make their grand return.

I don’t know how well known CD’s JP opening and ending songs are. There’s no way they would do ALL the Adventure 1 and 2 character themes in one film unless they’re instrumental leitmotifs. Too many vocal tracks and they definitely can’t play them every time a character shows up. And Sonic has a theme in the films already What I’m Made Of- if they use Overlord, yes. I feel like it would fit the film universe. Conversely they could do Open Your Heart (cause of the Sonic/Amy story) 5. again, that’s too much. They’ll probably cherry pick elements and adapt it to the movie universe like they did SA2 for movie 3. Metallic reference may just be a Metal Sonic Army, Metal likely becomes Neo and Overlord. Cream, Chaotix and Big left out I think. We already have to balance 5 Sonic characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow) AND Metal Sonic himself, and possibly Eggy again. I feel like Omega’s easy to slip in and Rouge could either be in a Shadow spin-off beforehand or show up here. 6. Silver Sonic and Mecha probably as cameos/failed prototypes because Metal exists. 7. The “Strange Isn’t It?” Line for sure. 8. Likely put together in one scene, as a trio going to the past like in 06.

I agree with what you're saying how they should add more music from the games into the movies and how the comedy needs some work when it comes to having serious moments, In my personal opinion, I'm fine with them sprinkling in some music from the games in the films cause that shows me that they're experimenting with how much music they add in the films. And I'm sure they'll full on play more Sonic Music in the films especially since Sonic Movie 3 was basically them testing the waters with how much music they can sprinkle in. The Comdey I do agree needs some work but you have to remember that Sonic and the Sonic Movies are still targeted towards kids besides adults and Sonic fans so the films being corny is subjective since Sonic is not only an all-ages Franchises but is still targeted towards kids. As for Amy's voice, there's actually a video by Evangelina Sarette where she animates voice clips of Kimiko Glenn and Her voice fits Amy Rose really well! I recommend you watch so you can see what I mean because both me and alot of people in the comments agree that Kimiko Glenn should voice Amy Rose in Sonic Movie 4.
