@@aerostrafe1075 06's issue wasn't the time it was made, but with it having it's team split in half (to work on Secret Rings, if you can believe it), Yuji Naka quitting SEGA mid-development, and being rushed to meet the anniversary year. There isn't anything here that couldn't be done in 2006, the development cycle of the game was just hell on earth :c

Mainly giving credit to the people working on P-06 here. Main reason I dont think they would of succeeded any way because they've fumbled games when having plenty of dev time, (Sonic Forces) and did well with less time (Sonic Generations/Sonic colors). I could cry right now, Silver is everything I was expecting from him at the start, a psychic who could use his psychokinesis to traverse at high speeds and attack with his mind, like a super fast psychonaut. the animations and combat are amazing, and they even went the extra mile and animated original start animations and little things like that.

Dude the one thing I’m excited to see, is speedruns of this new silver. Honestly speedruns of base 06 are actually really dope. And silver in there was a buggy mess that completely destroyed the physics engine the game was trying to go for. Here now, this will be very awesome

You really captured the image of 3D Amy well gameplay wise, you even added her hammer vault move and can cancel out of it for other moves, which is the perfect expansion of that move. She has actual range now. I will say, as a preference for myself I do prefer Amy have her hammer out as she runs, as I think it goes well with the theme of Sonic character running animations. But this is just a small preference for myself, I have zero complaints for ow my favorite character is utilized well. She's Adventure 1 Amy utilized to her best potential in 3d.

Sad thing is, it is the only good part how Amy plays in Sonic Adventure, discounting the sequel which she is just there. I bet the invisibility thing is straight up removed as it serves no purpose, neither for rhyme and reason.

I'm early in the video but I love how the devs made Silver and Blaze play off of each other in the first level. How they're just tearing through the enemies and flying through the city goes to show how well they work together and how powerful they are in that ruined future.

Wow! They've definitely improved & fixed up Silver's Upgrade Abilities really well making him more enjoyable to play as. They even gave him the power to use his Psychic Knives in this Release update after seeing him use it in Sonic Generations, which make sense considering that he did in fact used it during his Rival Boss Fight! While I already saw on how you get Silver's Upgrades throughout certain levels, I find his Powerful form, Sigil of Awakening which is similar to Shadow's Chaos Boost, really amazing. Especially when triggering it around groups of enemies. Thus giving his ESP boost up to an Insane level which is noticeable when using his powers. Blaze's & Amy's improved updates are much more fun & awesomely amazing too! I already saw Velcomia's Full Playthrough of this first before this, so it's pretty obvious that I love how they fixed up Silver, Blaze & Amy in this. Now Silver, Blaze & Amy are WAY more playable then his original version in the new Sonic Project '06 Silver Release! Your Showcase Playthrough of Sonic P-06 Silver Release was epic & amazing, Beatz.

He isn't going to rewrite the story, would be good but that is a little to much him, in order to do that he also need to do new dialogue, ever new dialogue you see on this demo was always there but the retail never use it, the original only use 40%, but in this demo most of the dialogue is use, but story is the same, I don't believe he can't or will change that.

@@hypersonic223 Nah, that isn't the reason, the main reason are one I already mention is the dialogue, if he rewrite the story he need to rewrite the dialogue as well and also remove other line that are already in the game, second voice actor, doesn't matter who many money he does on Patreon, he can afford to hire the people that did the voice for this game, we don't even know if he can get in contact with them and third if he change the story would be better if he did a new game all together.

The Silver campaign is so much faster paced now and loads more fun than the base game! I do hope that in future builds ChaosX could implement some sort of mechanic for jumping or flying out of situations where you fall off a platform or even the map because that happens a lot more frequently now that Silver is so fast.

Dude what the freaking hell is this crazy thing?! Right from the sequence at the very beginning 0:02 it all already almost looks like a totally different game from what we official had back then. Seriously, it's *ONLY ONE DUDE* (correct me if I'm wrong) who managed to make it all change so much, implement cutscenes, more advanced graphics during those cutscenes and during gameplay, new animations and abilities for characters, voice lines that didn't even make it in the official/original game. That is just crazy. If only the game had been like that at the time, it would've no doubt went down as one of the greatest Sonic games in the history of the franchise, dare I add one of the greatest video games ever even.

10:22 I'm glad that this version of '06 improved the infamous ball puzzle segment at the end of Dusty Desert for Silver. In the original, you had to deal with stupid-ass containers, pots, and extra holes in your way. Which obviously resulted to us to glitch through the door at the end by picking up one of the containers to get through and complete the stage that way. For this version, there's a ramp at the end where you can just simply toss the ball into the hole without even fucking up your chances which was a VAST improvement!!!
