9:25 Sonic getting beat up is a good thing. One of the main problems with sonic before frontiers was that he never showed weakness and ALWAYS had to win. Weakness shows humanity, and that means a lot for Sonic since he is a static character. Even more so since he's a main character. Him showing weakness makes him a more relatable character.

In a way yes as sonic fans we love to see sonic get beat up but usually its by more superior foes. He was losing to base amy in episode 5 which was like kinda odd and getting slammed by shadow

After seeing all 8 episodes of Prime I think that Season 2 will be more of a serious tone then how they’re trying to go with in Season 1 because of the flashbacks and having Sonic going into universes with different characters of Amy, Tails, Rouge, and Knuckles. I even feel like WildBrain will improved the elements from the first season into the next season as well to make Prime feel better. But overall, the first season was good and I can’t wait for Season 2 of Prime.

As much as I enjoyed the voice actors especially how this new voice actors of Sonic, Rouge, and Shadow. Plus the way how Tails's role shifts from different dimensions. But I really enjoyed both the Rebel Yoke City version of Tails that goes by the name "Nine" and the prehistoric jungle version of Tails. Along with prehistoric Rouge and piriate Rouge.

I think they could bring silver for season two because his future would technically be destroyed, so he could come and fight with sonic. But one thing I would have liked would be alternate versions of sonic himself (like he meets a evil version of sonic, or a roboticized version in new yoke city).

I would have liked that too, maybe it’s possible the show can build up to that. But I think whatever shadow/sonic did to avoid being lost in the shatterverse like the others is the reason why we may not see an alternate sonic.

This show was very enjoyable to me. My brother and I binged all 8 episodes together. I was so attached to the characters and visuals that I overlooked any flaws it had. I’m not saying that this show is perfect because it isn’t. This is probably my favorite Sonic show now. Sonic does seem more careless than usual, but it doesn’t bother me thhhaaattt much. What does bother though is the cliffhangers in pretty much every episode. Every time this would happen, I’d just be like; why? Like, I understand it for the eighth episode because they want to hype up the next batch of episodes, but there didn’t need to be cliffhangers in every episode. That fell off to me, but overall, I really do like this show.

I think by the end of the 24 episodes, it’s more than likely this will be the best Sonic show (and my personal favorite) but I just feel like some of the plot progression felt slow at times, (jungle episodes) characterization for sonic was bit hit or miss at times (can easily be correct with further character development and it looks likely it will happen) & the fact that we only got 1/3 of the episodes makes my rating feel somewhat incomplete. I’m thinking the ceiling for the show is high, and I can’t wait to see more! So I just gotta see how the next episodes play out to make my true final rating of the show.

Just watched the whole 8 episodes of Sonic Prime and it was awesome 🤩 from start to finish I loved the brilliant slapstick comedy and the fantastic voice cast of the characters especially my two favorite characters Sonic and Shadow and that it had some great references to the video games can’t wait for season two!! 👍❤️

I will tell you about Ashley ball she's the same actress that played rainbow dash and Applejack and My Little pony friendship is magic I would recommend you actually do listen to her voice and then go back and watch Sonic prime and you will see that there is a identical voice for her mainly for the first episode of Sonic prime cuz she's the one that is voicing tales.

This show better not be canon to the mainline games. I don't mind the show but, it's a little too kiddish for my taste and Sonic acts more so like how he's portrayed in the movies. I prefer his mature personality like in Frontiers. Prime Sonic acts like a kid while Frontiers Sonic actually behaves and acts like a mature adult.

I saw the whole season and it was very good Sonic is like still has his adventurous spirit but has a little bit of goku's dumbness but cares for his friends, nine is great! its like tails but badass and not wimpy or just a sidekick, S-word is amazing! even though he had very little screen time it was amazing! and that green chaos emerald is a reference to "where is that damn chaos emerald?" and nice to see that S word has his own personality and not as just an edgelord or a egotisitcal rival Vegeta vibes this guy has his own personality I liked that! and when it ended with that cliffhanger it just tells me that in Season 2 Sonic and S-word are gonna travel across the shaterverse and I hope that Super Sonic and Super S-word are gonna show up and as a teaser Silver would join the show! but as for this series I rate it a 9.2/10!

Ngl. This is the best Sonic cartoon of all already From the animation quality, the effort in the storytelling where the writers had Ian Flynn as a consultant, respected the source material a lot, great voice acting. (Especially Rouge mmmm). When I first heard Eggman I legit couldn’t tell it wasn’t Mike Pollock. Albeit the lack of rasp should’ve given it away I hope to see more of Shadow as he’s always been my favorite. And I’m glad they gave him an overarching background giving more justice to him rather than just passing him off like an emo? Albeit I kinda wish his voice was kinda deeper but I’ll accept it. Ian Hanlin did do good with what'd he's given I think his voice is better than Thornton. But not as good as Griffith or Humphrey (Now this is just me) but I think Vincent Tong was better suited for Shadow than Ian Since he(Vincent) was Gene Khan in Iron Man Armored Adventures I think his voice would've perfectly fit shadow When it comes to the animation and how much more effort and speed was put in the fights and running. It legit looked like how a real Sonic Game would be And what I kinda noticed that Sonic Prime did do differently than the other 5 was the perspective. Some of the more fun scenes involves the camera following Sonic and Shadow on their more fast paced action scenes like how an actual Sonic video game would play. It’s sadly something the others simply couldn’t Now the only had 1 nitpick and it’s more of a personal thing from me in general. And it’s just that I don’t like how much of the cast is associated with a certain pony show that shall not be named. I just hope that doesn’t affect the fan base very much. And I mean that WEIRD part of the fan base Though I can’t tell if it’s a diss or a nod. But when Sonic said “That’s a Sonic Boom of a headache” I felt that When it comes to the others. They never really had the video game feel that Sonic is known for with the exception of Boom and to an extent Sonic X Sonic Boom was never meant to be a serious cartoon but embraced its silliness especially in season 2. So the fights were fun to watch but the dialogue is where it shines the most Sonic X was definitely limited by its animation as it is pretty funny though the writing. Isn’t very good but there are so many fun moments in the series. Albeit. Would’ve been better without Chris Sonic Underground was a mistake and came out a year AFTER when Sonic Adventure released. How the hell did that happen? The adventures of Sonic the a hedgehog is kinda like roadrunner but the absurdity of show, meme material, and silly voice acting make up for it as a lot of stuff from it still make me laugh Sonic SATAM was definitely good with its animation and story. Albeit I have an unpopular opinion that the SATAM characters have had their time and that time is gone. So it boggles my mind how many attempts to revive them were made even during the Dreamcast era of Sonic Overall. I can’t wait for part 2 and 3 as they still have 16 more episodes to release T_T

So as far as this show goes, I love a lot about it, but it feels incomplete due to the episodes being released in small batches. It’s probably going to end up as the best sonic show when it’s all said an done, but I feel like I need the full slate of episodes to really determine that. Prime definitely has the highest ceiling, especially with how the last episode ended off.

@@SonicHubYT Also, Sonic being clumsy is another thing I don't like about the show, such as the part where he did not listen to Tails telling him not to get near that Paradox Prism, and gets punched, and hit, when he has pointy ears bigger than yours, and mine, able to hear a someone gently touching a table with their hands, or somebody sneaking into his house, and could easily wake up if someone is tip-toeing in his bedroom, like why would he not listen to his friend, or dodge an attack coming to him, and also, he has animal senses(since he is an animal) as well. The Sonic Prime show is just not accurate. Not sure what Naoto Ohshima would think of this show.
