I honestly think this is the absolute best Shadow has ever played in any game. He plays similarly to Sonic, but the focus on combat over speed makes his playstyle distinct. And it is a BLAST.

I've been learning a bunch of impressive info about this remastered version of Sonic 06 through KZbin videos, so that and because of me being a big fan of the whole Sonic franchise, already has me 100% convinced to get P-06 downloaded into the PC at my house when the final product becomes available. Which might not be too much longer because I also heard that the story mode and the boss battles are currently the only parts of it that aren't complete yet. I'll check this video again when I start playing it to be reminded of what I can do while playing as Shadow in it. PS, in my opinion this whole game impressively looks like the Sonic Adventure 3 one that most fans have been begging for for years, but is disguised by a different title name!!!

For some reason, if the AI would help you fight instead of you only doing the work alone. I imagine Sonic, Shadow, and Silver being the same AI for the boss versions of them when they help you fight the enemies.

Using chaos spear to bounce up and delay your landing as well as using the second jump dash/homing attack you get once after doing a chaos spear is your best bet, make sure to use these to help chain enemies and items together for that massive point bonus

Also, having chaos boost can help with what I said in my other reply by extending your homing attack range (and speeding up enemy encounters for the time bonus at the end). Also, I would reccomend only using chaos boost level 1 as the other levels feel like they break my chains more than help them, but that might just be me

@@sunnynot-so-real2363 5 months late I realize but figured i'd give input too for Shadow's score attack. basically, with Shadow you can delay the point tally for super high scores via killing an enemy with Chaos Spear, and then land, quickly jumping, spindash jumping, or just spindashing to further extend the delay because it counts as another attack, and you preformed it within the point tally freeze window that chaos spear provides. This happens because unlike with homing attacks, killing enemies with Chaos Spear (and also Chaos Lance) allows you to actually land and touch the ground for a quick moment and then easily go into another action like a jump or spindash before the combo chain score bonus triggers. You can also use spears to destroy objects too for the same effect.
