I'm shocked that MOST of the songs he's reacted to are the weaker ones. If he likes them, he'll love most of the better tracks. He listed to some of the GOATs already tho. But even this one I'm surprised he's not listening to the version with lyrics. He probably wouldn't expect this to have lyrics because it's a menu theme but there's totally lyrics to this since it's an alternate version of the main theme, which itself, as a separate song, is crazy on the ears. Let alone the Crush 40 VERSION of it.

Oh god RIDERS Zero Gravity 😭😭😭 That soundtrack is absolutely incredible. This song is so good, too, especially the lyrical version. It’s actually criminal this only ever plays for the main menu, and you have to get the OST to hear it otherwise. My old roommate and I used to turn the Wii on and leave the main menu on in the background for ambience.

Apparently the menu theme for Zero Gravity is just a remixed version of Ungravitify, the main theme of the game. I highly recommend listening to it. One of the best Sonic tracks

The biggest crime a Sonic game can commit nowadays is not having a good soundtrack, the OSTs of these games usually go way too hard for the games they're a part of. There's a lot of worthy guitar tracks between 1999-2005 to listen to if you don't mind 'butt-rock' and then the composers start experimenting with orchestral rock which gets arguably even better.

Surprised someone picked the Main Menu Theme over the Main game theme "Ungravitify" but its still a good main menu theme. Recommend the lyrical theme, or checking out the 30th anniversary concert, some great stuff there. Zero Gravity was on the Wii for reference, its the second title in the Riders series.

Oh boy, here come the Sonic suggestions, it was only a matter of time! The Riders games music (at least the first two, I haven't heard anything from Free Riders) is so FUN, and the main menu gives such a good taste for the music from the rest of Zero Gravity. It's always bumping and great to play to, as it adds an extra layer to the flow of the game, imo! (If you ever have time, check out footage from some of the levels, it gives a great illusion of FAST with gameplay!) Have a nice day, Jesse! Thanks for the fun insights to the songs all the time :) Sonic music has a wealth of styles, emotions and sound to it, and is well worth diving into, even if you don't get suggested it all. Personally, I would suggest 'Infinite' (Infinite's theme) from Sonic Forces, 'Endless Possibility' from Sonic Unleashed, or 'With Me' from Sonic and the Black Knight (another spin off game). I think they're some of my favourite ones with lyrics, though any theme by Crush 40 is a must hear in the Sonic fandom, with 'Open Your Heart' and 'Live and Learn' being classic favourites. I could list a million fun tracks and songs from the games but I won't, or we'd be here all day haha! I look forward to more reactions to Sonic themes in future, it's always interesting to see what people choose! :)

Zero Gravity was for the ps2, wii, and also on xbox i think? The track is called "Un-Gravitify (electro extended)", or something to that degree. It's a instrumental version of the electro remix of team Sonic's theme song for Zero Gravity, which is just called "Un-Gravitify". The track immediately caught my attention the very first time I started the game and it's become one of my all time favorite sonic tracks. Sonic (for the genesis) was also one of if not maybe my first ever video games to ever play so it's cool that that is also the cause for you.

I've played more than enough games where there's some sort of bonus content when you stay on the main menu or opening screen long enough or when the main theme ends. So I never skip straight to the game. Early games (think NES/SNES-era) sometimes put the inciting incident or basic plot after the main menu. Later games were more likely to have an opening cinematic or some sort or gameplay footage. I remember Pikmin 2 had a couple of How-To videos that you'd never see otherwise, and Ocarina of Time actually used clips of 3 different cutscenes from the game. You'd have to stay on the main screen 3 times to see them all, and that really reinforced the idea that if I refrain from skipping to the game, I may be rewarded for my patience.

My favourite era is Sonic Adventure 2 through Sonic and the Black Knight, full of differing gameplays, different styles, different music genres and inspirations. I think I'm not going to elucidate in the hopes more Sonic music is to come and you get fun little surprises. Wrapped in Black, Adabat Day, Shadow the Hedgehog - Select, and Seaside Hill, just four wildly different suggestions.

Out of all the sonic games I consider sonic zero gravity to be one of the best bangers with its gravity bass drop. Sonic CD to have the best mashup of electronic, pop, funk, rock, heavy metal, hip hop and orchestral. Sonic adventure had the best variety of music but sonic unleashed definitely one ups it by doing world music in an orchestrated way. Sonic music is hardly ever a let down and if there’s ever one bad one there are 20 great ones.

When you say up to Sonic 3, are you including Sonic & Knuckles? Because that's kinda Sonic 3, but not at the same time... If you aren't familiar with it already, I totally recommend the Lava Reef Zone theme... It's comparable to Ice Cap Zone, I think... Though Lava Reef is probably my favourite of the two. But yeah, if you're not familiar with the Sonic Adventure games, you kinda need to check out the songs from those at least lol. "Open your Heart" and "Live and Learn" are probably essentials (instrumental loops of sections of them are also the menu music, I think)... If I remember correctly SA1 and SA2 have different versions of "It Doesn't Matter"... I personally prefer the SA1 version myself, but if you want an excuse to listen to more than one at once, you might be interested in comparing lol. "Escape From The City (City Escape)" is a classic SA2 track, although it's probably better to hear while playing the level lol. The games of the Sonic Adventure (or possibly the Crush 40 era) tend to be more pop punk/ska or butt rock... Kinda different in comparison to the original games, but still a great time... Although, Knuckles has some nice, chill, jazzy hip hop/RnB kinda stuff in SA2... "Unknown From the M.E." has versions from both SA 1 and 2 which you might also enjoy comparing lol. But yeah, if you want to cover as much at once as possible, look for tracks in the Sonic Generations and Sonic Mania soundtracks, because they reuse old levels and remix them, so you could maybe get 3 to 5 different versions to compare... Sonic Mania does a cool job with remixing between acts 1 and 2 especially.

Actually it's an Instrumental, it's just made shorter and yes it's a short bit, you just can't tell because of the editing by the devs as they have more advanced software.
