This game was my pap childhood days. It's really easy actually, if you're second, you automatically go faster and catch up to the person in first place. I love it and Sonic Rivals 2 took the game and expanded on it's fundamentals. I'm a lil biased though so...yeah.

To be fair towards the close debuts, these games (Rivals and '06) were in development close to the same time, but Sonic '06 kept getting delayed. I'm pretty sure it was originally supposed to be released in the summer. I would like to put this into perspective and say they had 5 *EXTRA* months to work on that game... And look how it turned out!
