I only got into SRB2 in late 2020, but this is an interesting look into how things might have been if I had maybe gotten into the game years before, creating him back during this era. :3 I know Shine would have loooooooved it at the time, but I also do think that we've both learned so much over the years, as well as the game itself supporting way more features now, that maybe it was for the best that things happened when they did. I like thinking about this kind of stuff sometimes!

Oh yeah, absolutely! It's honestly rather fun seeing all these modern releases playing through the layout of the levels from another era as I used to do all the time as a kid. In a way, their layouts make for an amazing test level because of their length and how they were designed, you know? It just never gets old and I'm glad the past and present can come together to become this amazing blast to the past without having to downgrade and miss out on all the modern mods

You can also enable god mode with console cheats. It plays like super but has hyper appearance

@@anthskywalker not all that you could play the black hole zone map if you complete you will be reward an emerald that can cause to adventure sonic to be hyper forever but you still could super as 50 rings

Actually you can get hyper without using xmomentum. But it’s pretty difficult. You need to play and beat black hole zone with sa sonic which is one of the hardest special stages in the game. Now you might ask “but you can’t play that level because it’s in nights mode and modified games can’t play the level” well there are two ways you can do this ether download the custom game save in message board that allows modified characters or just use the command “map map57” ether way is fine then beat the stage. After that you unlock hyper basically forever even outside of modified game states. You still need 100 rings to use hyper but it’s an amazing reward. If you have a hard time beating it just put god mode lol. (Note hyper doesn’t work on netgames but since xmomentum works you can just make a server with that mod installed)
