If that was the case, then we have the whole Sonic and All Stars trilogy. They should add the hype commentary in Transformed, because that would make the commentary better. The first game is just awesome and Team Sonic Racing changes between annoying and amusing. I didn't mind it as much, but I can agree that some of the dialogue is stupid and obnoxious. Still, it's tolerable. Plus I can play all games on the switch.

MrFlipperInvader792 Unfortunately yes. The one in Transformed doesn’t commentate during races but he does announce the power ups when they’re collected. Plus there is an option to make his voice lower and turn him off completely. He gets upset whenever you do that.

Big is just like Sega. You want to live him, but he's gotten lazy and too huge for the tools he actually brings to the table to support his size. At least here in the west . Sega should make good on that promise to do better for the west. PSO 2 was a failed promise to the west and we've been asking for Virtual On and asking for BORDER BREAK to come to console so it could make it west . Border Break came to console and they still screwed us with no west release.

I find the first game here far superior to Transformed. Diverse and unique All-Star moves, no excessive/moronic guest characters, and just far more lively. The announcer was very fun to listen to while racing and made the game for me in a way!

But let's not forget Chris tho....... Just kidding give me Maria the hedgehog instead. I like the concept and it's possible to bring into the game. However a main game involving her would have to be done first. Wanna know how. Easy Shadow gets to sent a deminsion, that's has a version of Maria that's a hedgehog. Then here how we can kill 4 birds with one stones. Have a good story line going, have a decent shadow game, make like adventure 2, have some new characters involved. I mean not gonna lie, there a whole game you could make from knuckles lore alone. Want proof Knuckles main protagist Dr finitevus main antagonist You can other shit in the middle that makes for a really good story that keeps on the edge of your seat. But back to the shadow game. Prhaps bring in metal sonic and Eggman and team dark along for the ride. Here the idea Eggman sends team dark and metal and some others sonic characters on a mission to explore and unknown demsion. This could lead them to find a cast of new characters and fresh feel. Let's face it. How have the best character been introduced, blaze and silver from alternative demsion, shadow was eggmans grandfathers life work. Rouge is knuckles rival and plays a nice part of team dark. But she was also the government spy. So how do we introduce Maria, have her whole demsion left into down fall and her grandfather in this demsion is evil and turned her into a hedgehog by mistake when tried to kill her because he she was ruininghis evil plans. So shadow and friends go a mission to help save her demension. Now bad right, to be honest I think be good. It's not Eggman, it's not some lame bad guy. No if we made evil Gerald and he already turned half his world to ruin and now trying to take over other demsion and calls Eggman and Eggman nega failures, then hell we got a game plot running. What made SA2 one of best, because its has emotional impact. You been though a hell of an adventure just here sonic say say sadly sayanora shadow the hedgehog, while one of most saddest music pieces plays in the background. That's why that game is one of the best. It's makes Eggman threatening, sonic has a real challenge for a change. It was good because it was fresh. That's what's missing. Is depth. Like cut the comdey and go cool and slightly dark. Like you think shadow game was not that sad, you see Maria get shot in the Japanese version.

I was a kid when my parents let me rent out this game from the movie rental place (back when they were still common). I remember playing it on the Wii, and I fell in love. I only really knew the Sonic characters (and had heard of some of the others like Monkey Ball), but I was an avid Mario Kart fan, and grew to love this game just as much, if not more, in the short amount of time that I played it. My favourite character ended up becoming Opa-Opa, both because of the ridiculous design, and also the All Star move letting you choose what you wanted. Fast forward to now, around ten years later, and I've just got this game in a Humble Bundle. It's exactly how I remember it. The music is catchy, the gameplay is tight and fun, and most importantly, I own it now. I don't have to part hands with it again. I'm looking forward to unlocking everything :D

2:21 I don't know why, but I found the cat walker all star particulary disturbing. It's just a mix of the animation being long enough to where the walkers black teeth and creepy face get right up to your screen, accompanied by that unsettling music.

While I do like Transformed, this game is better in my opinion because of more unique characters, varying kart types, actually different All Star moves, a unique sense of speed that Transformed doesn’t have, and of course, the announcer. The only reason I would play Transformed over this is for Ages. I know it was just an April Fools joke, but I think a remake combination of this game with even more characters than before would sell greatly, and it could give a chance for PlayStation to finally get its well deserved exclusive character.

Since this was recommended, I'll at this now before I forget: I had the DS version but I love the announcer in the Wii and other versions. DS was still good though. I just wish he was in the game.
