anybody notice the chaos emerald was green, the fight happened away from that emerald, and the bird thing pulled out a purple chaos emerald, which was one that merlow already owned? That bird has level 100 pickpocketing.

Its probably how the sprites have joints to their skeletons so the animation looks a lot more fluid. They're called advanced sprites.
