They turned on the FM ost for this video. The Master System (or rather the Japanese Mark III) had the ability for limited FM synthesis. A while ago, ValleyBell modified the SMS version of Sonic 1 to make use of the FM features, and afaik this remake has always had the option to switch between them.

@@ItYaBoiGreen Well ok, I'm not comparing them with this game or saying these games are bad , I just love this game because it feels classic and retro and also I had mastersystem when I was too young, but after getting SEGA genesis these trio was better than Sonic 1 sms.

@@Lostspeed3 I mean yea I get what you mean, ever since I played it on the GameCube port of sonic adventure I instantly fell in love. The sms may not have the best Sonic titles but damn are they fun and do hold a special place in my heart.
