Golden Capital 2 is actually phenomenal. This OST has the case of there really isn’t a song I “dislike” (besides the menu theme and some of the battle songs) but the mid stuff is just outshined by the good stuff. So many better songs than GC Act 2, but it’s still great

Update: I've finally been able to play and beat sonic superstars and just as I suspected most people are getting mad at the game with the "difficulty" despite it being their skill issue, the levels weren't that difficult, although I do agree the later bosses are pretty hard although I enjoyed the game so, this game is an 8/10 for me really. Superstars is better than 1, 2, and CD although it's definitely not as good as Sonic 3&K and Mania. People need to calm down especially with the soundtrack (I am talking to you Aquaponieee) (Also, yes, Mugimikey called me out 😢) Update 2: Finally was able to beat Trip's Story and the True Final Boss, and wow my opinion changed, trips story is just too brutal for being hard mode although its not bad when you learn what comes your way, the real struggle is the bosses themselves, the final boss is a pain in the ass, anyways trips story made me realize that I'm being too generous 7/10 now overall in the game, as for the True final boss, it was a lot more easier really just grab those rings learn the patterns and you're good if you struggle on Trip's story, I don't blame you, if you struggle on the main story, thats a huge skill issue

All of these opinions are objectively correct. Something I've noticed with Jun's music is that the compositions themselves are great, it's just that godawful faux-genesis synths. If you listen to versions with altered instruments, they sound immediately better. And with the ones that are already amazing like Press Factory, the change in instrumentation makes them perfect.

06 was worse than Forces on a technical level, but 06 was also a more interesting game. Forces was just bland and forgettable. While 06 was very flawed, it was memorable and ambitious. That's why it's being remade via Project 06 to great reception.
