Sonic Superstars - Part 1 - Bridge Island / Speed Jungle / Sky Temple (No Damage)

Starting up the latest Sonic game, Superstars on the PS5. I'm more of a 3D Sonic guy, but enjoying it so far.
This goes through the first three zones in the game. Really like that you can switch to any character you want on your save file, along with using different powers as you go on.

1) You can also replay stages at anytime. That way you can try again at finding special stages. 2) Apparently, you can only collect one emerald per zone. 3) Where are Amy and Knuckles at the start of the game? I only see Sonic and Tails on the Tornado.

Well, each of the 4 characters have their own separate intros that lead them to arriving on the Northstar Islands. Knuckles’ intro involves the Master Emerald telling him that something’s going on at the Northstar Islands and to go check it out. As for Amy, she was playing with some animals, and then she sees Sonic and Tails in the Tornado fly by, wondering what they’re up to.

From what I've seen so far, what character selection would be appropriate... Bridge Island Zone: Maybe Knuckles? No, him appearing at a sky level, like how Angel Island is in the sky, is the better way to explain his situation.... Bridge Island Zone: ...okay yeah, Sonic. Speed Jungle Zone: Sonic, full way through. Sky Temple Zone: Knuckles

To be honest, I really don't know why you like having Sonic and Tails when it comes to classic Sonic titles. :) About Helga in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2, I'm sorry if they took her out in the sequel. I think it's best if you want to play as Lucy Loud on Loud House as your new character in a sequel since she has awesome new attacks. :) And if Lori joins, She'll turn her rivals into Pretzels. :)

The physics actually look very much akin to the classic titles, _especially_ compared to Sonic 4. If you're talking about the boss themes and Sky Temple, those are still only part of the game, not the entire thing as you claim it is.

Thanks! In a way with how levels are, the puzzles inside them and more to proceed, I feel like 3D would've worked out a bit more. But its still fine to play in 2D. Co-op feels like the 3D Mario game's co-op, but a bit more clutter/hard to see due to the fast movement.

In some stores, for some reason they sold the game early, so if you are lucky your local video game store might have the game for you to buy early.
