Nintendo Switch Version shouldn't have been downgrade. These graphics are not freaking PS5 graphics. The game is stupid simple. Sega does this with every Sonic game on Switch EXCEPT Mania. They screw the Switch version up... well Arzest did. Again the Switch should have been more identical that what we got.

Especially since frontiers looked pretty good even on switch. Xbox/ps4 are obviously better but it wasn’t terrible in comparison to those versions.

FINALLY, a comparison vid! PS5 has more details (of course), but why is the depth of view like that?! Backgrounds look so blurry by comparison. At least the foreground looks nice.

Id be fine if there was a blur in the far islands but having the big island in the background be blurry makes it look static and like a png.

Yeah, they probably didn't want too much focus on the background, but they overdid it since it looks very blurry by comparison. 💀

Honestly I'm fine with both. The depth of field is only annoying if you're nitpicking. Otherwise if you're a casual fan, both versions look incredible. You can't go wrong with any of them

Not necessarily nitpicking, they should at least provide an option to disable/reduce it for the HD consoles.

PS5 is a lot sharper more defined. Switch is so jaggy and blurry. We will get the PS5 quality

@@XP9724 Switch version has more washed out colors, less detail in the environments and has loading times. My biggest issue is the washed out colors on Switch.

Well looks like I’m picking up the PS5 version. Was hoping the switch version was going to look identical since it was the target platform but the blurry textures and lack of depth of field is way too apparent. Still looks great if that’s the only choice you have. Thanks for the vid!

This comparison is very absurd just like mortal kombat 1. We have to remember that the Nintendo Switch is a portable console, in addition to the dock mode. The Switch still has a lot of potential to explore instead of throwing hate at Nintendo. Let's remember that patches are coming, Mortal Kombat 1 was horrible before but now it's a little better with version 1.5. AND THE Nintendo Switch IS NOT THE EQUAL OF PLAYSTATION 5
