Trip may be my new favorite sonic character. I love Metal Sonic but this absolute goober is so adorable. Oh and she turns into a god damn dragon for some reason. Kinda based. Hopefully trip is used in more games after this, would love to see her in the modern games or comics.

I really want to play her superform in a 3D game. Likely they plan to use her at least in mobile games or comics, as recently she was mentioned in Tailstube 5 and is not a random things as it work as promotion a quick course of who is who on Superstars. The curios thing is that not only mention her at the end. They take the time to explain were are Mighty and Ray in modern era, and Fang name changes, being all his names canon simply being alias he take.

Fang kinda goes insane with the Mecha Armor. Literally my favorite final boss than ever Eggman battle, because the sniper turned into a Evangellion guy suddenly.

Don't let your guards down. Trip's story mode is much, MUCH harder than the main story mode. The level design and obstacle placement are downright masochistic. Other than the Fang boss fight at the end, I see no reason to ever go near it again.

I hope Trip doesn't get the treatment the Hard-boiled Heavies got. The Heavies were a good idea and I think there was still a lot of things that SEGA could squish out of them, but they just decided to never show them again. I really like Trip, hope we get to see more of her in the future.

Not necessarily. Trip can double jump, and stick to and roll on ceilings and walls, and she has a double jump, but she can’t fly like Tails, use the Drop dash like Sonic, Glide like Knuckles, or use an insta-shield like attack like Amy can.

@@icecontrol1 Yeah after watching, t appears the Eggrobo just disappears for no reason. I kind of figured that like Mecha Sonic, Fang was the one calling the shots, but we never really see it. This could have easily been rectified by having it appear before Fang's final battle for it to get destroyed in some way (maybe Fang tries to attack you but you dodge it and one of the attacks destroys the Eggrobo or it fires and AOE attack into the general area that kills Eggrobo but Trip manages to dodge...something along those lines).

Its kind of interesting to see the blend of difficulty centered around her toolkit The enemy and hazard placement is more concentrated, but they gave her a double jump so you can anchor walls and ceilings, which makes it seem like its for beginners What I'd like to see in at least one classic game or mod is the ability to make sonic immune to enemies after running off a ramp. Which might seem minor, but can be an asset to the way levels are designed Back in the Advanced games, they gave characters a way to attack which also contributed to your momentum. It was a timing detail which if quick timing is a factor, influences your path finding and/or speed To me, that seems like a better design than the homing gimmick. They rarely capitalize on how the homing attack contributes to using speed effectively and gameplay feels very disjointed

I found out that if you dont have the time stop emerald you cant proceed in pinball carnival. The game of course doesnt tell you right away and lets you run in circles until you have the emerald. And even more funny is the fact you cant even get the appropiate emerald in this stage to proceed. Good level design
