Nice run, actually my 18:12 didn't have the metro 2 skip in it, only differences from this are the hill top 1 small zip, oil ocean 2 super sonic glitch, and metro 3 skip which of course saves time. I believe at the time metro 2 was still considered a "warp" under SDA rules, or I just didn't feel like re-doing the 18:12 when it was discovered not sure. I am playing around with glitchless a bit and glad to have your run to go off of! -stanski

This run is pretty great so I don't even know if I will be able to match it, I just am playing for fun now without some huge ego pressure to 'be the best,' since everyone else is so damn good at this game now. I'm a little older and maybe wiser (at least a little more aware of where I'm not wise!) and can see how much more fun it is to play the games for enjoyment and not put so much pressure on it all. It still would be fun to break 18 minutes though :)! Hope you are well brother, see you around

+yoshifan28 Yeah I'm not happy with what I did in Metro 3, but I was on incredible pace and thought I'd just play it safe. What had been happening to me was, I would have both characters land on the nut and run up but the mantis would fire its blades and follow me up, and dodging them with both characters was impossible because you had to dodge not only those, but the star enemy at that height too...

Yeah, that mantis was a pain for me as well. I figured the mantis spotting me was just about the timing of my jump onto the nut, but I wasn't too consistent at avoiding it.

Now that a few people have tried this category, are you 100% sure you want the CN2 flipper skip at 6:49 to be included in a glitchless run? It looks a bit iffy and is technically the same as skipping the crusher in Marble 1.

shymickey6 there's 3 buttoms on the controller, all 3 jump. so by using this you can get a ton of speed. and spam spin dashes faster. get your facts right when you assume this is a tas and posting a comment.
