Welcome to my Sonic 4: Episode 2 100% Walkthrough! In this walkthrough, I'll be playing through the entire campaign, collecting all the Chaos Emeralds and Red Rings in the process.
In this part, we find out how Metal Sonic got revived after his defeat in Sonic CD and how he pursued Sonic (revisiting Episode 1 in the process) in Episode Metal!

The only way I can see this making sense in the Sonic canon is that it took metal sonic a really long time to travel from little planet to Earth, enough time where Sonic 3 & Knuckles could fully happen.

Aii so Sonic 1, Cd, 4(metal episode) 2, 3, S&K, A1,A2,H,06,Unleashed,Colors,generations,Lost world,in the middle of that we got Mania. Then after mania the sequel, Forces. Then mania Plus(DLC), back to the future is fromtiers and if you want to fit Prime in there, it's either before or after. And we're getting another rerun of the classic games in 3d(Superstars)
