Hey AJ, I worked at the company in Vancouver that shut down, on sonic (and cats unfortunately), and I can tell you that it was definitely not Sonic's fault, nor was it anyone on the production side's fault.. It was a bloated company, operating in an expensive part of Vancouver (Yaletown), with a huge facility, and constant freebies and goodies all day (to mask the completely banana's hours), and they had people cemented in positions, that had built a pipeline to tailor to their existence, holding the whole studio up. There was a LOT of admin, and higher up issues within the company, than just a single production.

So many people in the industry are fully prepared to have to jump ship at some point. I myself have revolved between about 5 or 6 different companies over the last 8-9 years. It's just a nature of the beast. Everyone I know that was at MPC Vancouver when it shut down, has already found work again, though some had to move to Montreal, or even further, to get it. Thanks for your concern though!

Calling it now, for the sequel they're gonna: - get a different (most likely cheaper) animation studio resulting in a different (most likely inferior) animation quality - replace Jim Carrey with someone fatter as Dr. Eggman to try and match his game design more - forget about the owl character and pretend she never existed (not sure about the echidna warriors) For the record, I don't hate the movie. On the contrary, I like it. But like I did with the first movie, I'm gonna cautiously set my bar low for the sequel and hopefully be pleasantly surprised once it comes out.

When Sonic is running down the building then gets shot, the "No!" they used was ripped straight from the "No!" used when sonic dies in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. That last scene really made me want a sequel, Carrey was an absolute delight in the movie and I so want to see him (and the rest of the great cast) have a blast again. With the movie about to make it's budget back in the opening weekend, I hope Paramount considers it.

The "Mushroom Planet" directly evokes Mushroom Hill Zone from the first level of Sonic & Knuckles (1994). While this is not a real place, there is a luxury property in Montana called Green Hills Ranch. The Flash is seen to be Sonic's favorite superhero. Both are speedster heroes, obviously. Sonic's bare feet are never shown. Tails is voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey, who has voiced the character since 2014. Just like he did in the games, Miles "Tails" Prower shows up in time for the sequel, in a post-credits sequence.

I don't think that version exists. I feel like they waited until they got feedback on Sonic's design before doing tails, which would make sense because it saves them money and it's just for one last minute scene

Pedro Brazon I’d say he was alright in here. About a 50/50 with his character. Some jokes landed others really didn’t. There was one in there that I absolutely loved though. That’s just my opinion. I cant wait to see a sequel with him in it.
