Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis) all Chaos Emerald bonus levels

All the bonus stages from the original Sonic the Hedgehog completed. Of course, in the original game there were only six Chaos Emeralds. The seventh Chaos Emerald and Super Sonic first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I believe....

You're exactly right because my theory is that stage is modeled after 4th density (dream realm) the stage that seperates earth from the heavens. The emeralds are just your soul's transmigration process to it's higher self. Notice the birds morph into fishes etc

I loved these segments. They were so surreal and dazzling. A fair number of Sega games had that dreamy art design. Nights, Space Harrier, Ecco the Dolphin, Alex Kidd, Altered beast, Gunstar heroes, Columns. And of course the whole Sonic universe. Even alot of the title box art with the blue grid. Salvador Dali would be proud.

I've actually landed on the goals and jumped off them somehow. It's a very shit-your-pants moment when it happens, so I think he actually could haave landed on them. And even if he did, does it matter? I think the point of the video was to show people who are very bad at these levels (i.e me) or just people in general what the rest of the levels look like.

People who think 1:17 was hack probably never tried ard enough on the levels. that's no hack, that's legit stuff, and boy if it wasn't into the games it would be pretty hard getting the emeralds. And that doesn't give you instant win because you can always fall in the middle.

The ending implies that Eggman is after the chaos emeralds too, and letting any of the emeralds fall into his hands leads to a phyrric victory. However, if you get all the chaos emeralds then beat Eggman, then Eggman's faliure is complete, and you completely defeat him at the end of the game.

You will complete the game normally but you won't get super. You still need all the Emeralds to complete the game or it will say "try again".
