Após 9 meses e os eventos de "Sonic Frontiers", a Terra voltou a ter paz, isso é que Silver e Blaze pensavam antes de receberem uma "visão" alertando sobre um possível ataque nas linhas temporais. Enquanto isso, Shadow e Rouge acham que Dr Eggman está evoluindo sua tecnologia e colocando bombas massivas em seus drones de última geração, agora eles terão que investigar esse caso.

Bem, pelo que foi dito no início, Sonic se afastou para treinar e controlar os poderes que ganhou em Starfall Islands como o Cyberloop, Power Boost, etc. Além que quando o Super Sonic 2 aparece na abertura, ele está com a aura do Cyberspace, isso é apenas um equívoco, ele não terá o poder do Cyberspace já que essa série se passa depois do final Não-Canônico do Sonic Frontiers, ele terá algo diferente que será dito ao decorrer da série.
