Hello. I'm writing this on August 1st, 2024. Please note that I am currently on an indefinite hiatus. The original comment can be read below. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Considering the amount of comments pointing out the creator's criminal actions, I feel the need to reiterate something that I've stated in the description. I do NOT, in any way, support the creator of the mod, and especially not his actions. What he did is disgusting, and I'm glad that his team ceased development of this mod following his incarceration. Unfortunately, his actions don't change the fact that he and his team made a mod that is as close to objectively amazing as can be, and to such a degree that I wanted to make a video on it. Since I won't conceal information from my viewers, the next section will detail the creator's crime and situation for those who would like to know. Please note that they are not to be viewed by the faint of heart. CONTENT WARNING: PEDOPHILIA. I'm basing this on my memory, so some information may not be accurate. In December of 2023, the creator and lead developer of the Undertale: Bits and Pieces mod, whose legal name and internet persona is Blaize Mayes, was arrested for possession of child pornography. He was not incarcerated for long, as he was released shortly after via bail. One of the punishments for his crime was that he may never again own a device capable of connecting to the internet. Despite this, his Twitter account remains semi-active. What's worse is that judging by his tweets, he has no remorse for his heinous actions, even going as far as to joke and post memes about them. That is all I know of this situation. Despite the creator's criminal actions, it would simply be unfair to not link the download page for the mod in the description, especially considering that a fair chunk of commenters would evidently like to try it out. As a result, the mod is linked near the beginning of the description, as already implied.

As far as I can tell, his main (or only, I have no idea if he has an alt) account is semi-active, as his latest post was just 2 days ago, though it is apparently private, as I couldn't access it through his profile page. I'm assuming you're talking about his Twitter/X account. I can't provide information regarding the status of his other accounts, seeing as I haven't done any research on them.

There is a bug that if just before fighting sans you backtrack to the mtt hotel entrance you'll hear and alarm constantly in every room including the sans fight and after it (idk why but it feels fitting that there would be an alarm in new home to warn everyone to stay away from the points closest to the core in case of a meltdown)

Except for some newly added quality of life gameplay features, you're basically right on the money. As said in the description, this mod is effectively an unofficial remaster of Undertale that was cancelled prematurely, albeit very close to the final release, due to the creator's crimes. Yup, not allegations, crimes. If you'd like to educate yourself on the matter, you can look up "Blaize Mayes" on Google.

@@plero512 This is a rather niche question that I won't do research for due to the fact that I probably wouldn't be able to find answers, but I do know some things relevant to it. If I recall correctly, some of the developers of this mod said they were abandoning it because the thought of continuing its creator's work disgusts them. However, I believe that some of the developers have started working on an Undertale remaster mod of their own. I can't quite recall the name of the mod in question, nor am I certain if it's even still being worked on. However, I am fairly certain that there's little to no public information regarding it. It's also not the only Undertale remaster mod that's supposedly being worked on. That's basically all I know about this subject. I hope it helps.

As said in the pre-fight transition, Asriel is one of the few incomplete bosses. He was the worst offender in that regard, having basically not been (properly) changed at all. The result is an extremely buggy, broken mess that I only included due to Asriel's signifiance as a boss.

The mod has seperate save data from the base game. Installing the mod will replace your game's files, but not your base game save data, which can be copied into the mod's save data folder. Keep in mind that the base game files are still recoverable via reinstalling, so installing the mod won't permanently replace them.

With that being said, in my defense, that version of the game is unstable and, more importantly, has Deltarune mechanics. I probably would've wanted to stay as true to Undertale as possible, not play an experimental, shitpost-esque version of this mod.
