Sonic Unleashed had a very unique soundtrack overall. Most of the 3D Sonic games preceding it just used mostly rock and sometimes techno music. Sonic Unleashed really brought a bunch of new styles to the series.

as two of my favorite soundtracks in a sonic game, hearing this really does confirm to me how similar these two soundtracks are. Beautiful in their own way, yet even from a different era, are connected like they were meant to be locked on, like sonic three and knuckles. Though I think this remix has quite some issues that need to be polished.
