If you play PS3, press circle button to grab it. And if you play Xbox 360, Press B button to grab it

You can't. Now, if you are playing the game on the PS3, you can put mp3s on the internal storage and listen to those while playing certain games, Sonic Unleashed being one of those. The BGM automatically mutes. That's how this was done.

Sorry man...you're gonna have to inch this but I can offer you this, after you complete the first balance walkway just put the as close to the edge as possible and then jump it normally; the arms will grab it for you
