Sonic Unleashed Wii - Dragon Road Night Act 1 [Full HD 1080p]

Speed run of The Floating Shrine - Act 1 of Dragon Road Night (Sonic Unleashed Wii). The stage was fun to play.
Tell me if you like this gameplay video. I'm not a huge fan of the Werehog levels but I can do other night stages occasionally if they're fun to play or if you guys want to see them.

Back when I was fond platforming games, Sonic Unleashed had that classical PS2 game feel that makes me care less about graphics because I loved the game itself, especially the Werehog stages.

Why did they think it's a good idea to interrupt the stage music with that loud, annoying fight theme? I know it's a common concern, but I just noticed how nice Chunnan's night theme really sounds.

Tis a shame too, it's not a bad track. But it gets played so damn often that it's just repetitive by the time you're half way through the game! Even if they made a normal theme for normal gameplay, and then a battle theme version of a given stage theme would be a lot better.

The werehog was the product of the beginning of the Sonic renaissance era, back when it had so much promise! It was a creative idea, perhaps one could perceive it as a gimmick, but without it I think Unleashed would have gotten stale rather quick, I mean, the werehog has problems, but I thought it was a welcome breath of fresh air. as of now Sega has hit a creative rut, they finally started giving into the classic fanboys, showing no signs of any true originality since... I'd say black Knight. Colours had pretty good gameplay, but the tone was far too lighthearted, the plot was dumb and boring, the wisps were kind of neat, but have been shoe horned into everything since, the humour was lobotomy worthy, and it paved the way for generations. It was another game that had good gameplay, but I lost interest long before the time eater battle, and I still have yet too finish it. The game is the be all end all of playing it safe, nothing new, nothing interesting. I liked some of the levels like city escape and roof top run, but that's because it reminded me of a time when sega was willing to take chances. Lost world, though I haven't played it yet, from everything I've seen, is clearly not designed with Sonic fans in mind with it's more Mario structure, right even down to the level gimmicks. The gameplay looked interesting, the parkour, though I can tell it's obviously flawed, has potential, and the multiple running speeds are neat. However it's held back by it's nostalgia pandering that we've seen so much of, and again, bad writing. Boom was never a good idea. They wanted to appeal to western fans, so they made a more western Sonic. Now here's the problem with that logic, Sonic already appealed to western audiences, that's why they wanted a version to appeal to western audiences, but if he ALREADY appealed to western audiences... WHY DID HE NEED TO RE-TOOLING TO BEGIN WITH?! The game was also clearly made by people who had NO interest in making a Sonic game, and just wanted to do whatever, this was aloud in the name of appealing to western audiences... I direct you to my previous rebuttal. ... oh my... I'm rambling again... sorry, got in the moment. XD

Little UZI Unfortunately I don't own neither the consoles (either of them), nor a capture device. I do plan on uploading Sonic Generations (PC) videos in the, hopefully, near future though, including the Unleashed project mod and character swaps.

Little UZI Haha xD. Well, I would definitely appreciate that kind of donation!) Oh, yes, I forgot to mention that i the previous post but Unleashed (X360/Ps3) doesn't run in 1080p. And it's not always 60 fps. The game's fps drops quite often. Sonic Generations PC is a whole different story though.

Collect sun and moon medals, go to the Gaia Gates, there are extra lives scattered around that increase the total lives you can have. I think the cap is fifteen or twenty.
