I honestly love the wii version of unleashed, i must say, this stage is actually really nice, and i like the difference between the Xbox and Playstation versions of the stage, which feature a more sunny, and bright atmosphere, while this provides a stormy, grey sky area.

This version of Chun-nan was always more pleasing to look at for me. The HD version had fog, but in this version, it looks like it's about to rain, which I really like. Don't get me wrong though, PS3/360 version is still extremely pretty.

I like the approach on momentum here. When you're in the air you slow down quickly because of air friction, but once you're on the ground it doesn't matter for Sonic.

Not all stages being missions and stages are bad, take a look at Wii eggman land; it was heck in the 360/PS3 version due to a lot of reason, one of which is stage length, but with stage shortened, and a bunch of missions, it feels like and actual challenge instead of a marathon of hazards wanting you dead every waking second.

I have a feeling they were meant to be part of the main level. Several of the beginning/ends look like they could match up. My best guess is that the level was supposed to start with the No Damage mission section, then the end of the No Damage mission section was supposed to lead to the beginning of the second Time Attack section, then the end of the second Time Attack was supposed to lead to the beginning of the main level. In other words, the intended level was supposed to go from 4:00-5:03, then 8:05-9:29, then 0:00-2:29.

Treyshellz I've been playing Unleashed Project, a mod that replaces the stages in Generations on PC with the ones from the PS3 version of Unleashed, and it's made me think. I do really enjoy the boost gameplay, but the level design now seems to be too easy. Unleashed gave a real sense of speed with stages that highlighted it while still giving a challenge. Now, it quite literally is boost to win. I don't think I'll ever buy Forces unless it's on a 75% off Steam sale or something.

I’d say the coolest thing about the ps2/wii version being different from the ps3/Xbox 360 version is that they’re literally two different games that each have their own things to offer like how the Gaia gate is an exclusive hub world to the ps2/wii version or how there’s an exclusive werehog transform scene for the loading screen between night and day only on the Xbox 360 version that doesn’t happen on ps3 version only a black loading screen when you change from night to day plus the ps3 version unfortunately ran slower than the Xbox 360 version

Gamecube connected to the Wii itself definitely. There's no setup for connecting a Gamecube controller to a Wii Remote, that doesn't work, and even if it did the game wouldn't recognize it as a Gamecube controller.

There isn't a roll button. Sonic rolls depending on how fast he's going while you boost. I'm using Dolphin 5.0 r323 for this game.

Fair enough, but the wii version just seems to capture the essence of sonic better and was a lot easier to get immersed in. The xbox 360 version was way more challenging. I would use the werehog for additional backup, but the whole concept of that thing was a flat note from the beginning in both versions.
