Sonic Wake V2.. New PB... new boat?

Stock electronics, just leveled the trim tabs and put 4mm ID cooling lines throughout. Man the trim tabs up makes a huge difference in how cool and fast the boat runs. 54 ish on the first run, moved the battery forward which I think pushed the CG forward enough that the bow nose dives coming down from a partial blow over. Hatch is toast, gonna do a thorough post run and see what else is done for. Alwin thinks I may have hit a culvert or boulder on the bottom of the soil conservation lake we run on as its only 4-6 feet deep.
Gonna lower the trim tabs to 2mm below the hull line and give her another go this week.

Great video LOVE IT! She was running way to dry, now you gotta find that balance between Dry Vs Wet riding boat.. Take a ruler with you so you can do on the spot tuning, Trim tabs i usually go down half turn at a time both sides until i find her sweet spot. Dry running boats are fun but there constantly on the edge

Thanks man 🙏. You keep teaching us 🤣 I’m sure as hell listening. I went down about 2 turns, she’s planted now but I’ve lost some speed, think I’m going to go up a half turn at a time like you said. Keeping the CG back for now and just using the trim tabs, she torque rolls on throttle too so I might play with trying to counter that but it’s running better than ever right now. Think it’s time for my first cat, looks like BlackJack 24 since there’s so much room for improving on the already solid design. 🤘 Thanks again for putting on test and tinker videos 💪

I got a slight trim and its good zero trim mine wants to walk on the prop hitting 57 on minre with trim . Peace.

Yeah, very true. I kind of like the semi scale off shore power boat style running, nice hops and chops 🤣. She seems to pull 56-58 mph constantly now. I’m happy with that and using her as a basher.
